This book was so amazing I read it twice, as in finished it and literally went right back to the beginning to start again. The beauty and hope and healing and humanity in this book were like a balm to my spirit. I cannot recommend this series enough!

It's been a long time since a book really brought tears to my eyes. Miller did an incredible job of portraying Achilles and Patroclus and retelling their story. The way she paints their relationship is just stunningly beautiful. There is so much packed into this story and I'm absolutely in love with the way Miller writes. I LOVED this book!!
It has been quite a while since a book actually scared me the way this one did. The concept itself of not knowing what you are running from is scary enough, never mind trying to navigate the world #blindfolded with who knows what outside. This book was #creepy, #disturbing, #tense, and #addicting. I highly recommend it!!!

This book is beautifully written! I love our protagonist. She is a fearsome lady, and makes some amazing decisions throughout the novel. This novel made me laugh, made me cry, and opened my eyes to things I hadn't ever thought of. Seriously, read this amazing Christian historical fiction novel.
