Good, busy weekend, but started getting a scratchy throat yesterday. And this today. It's going to be a long week (and the next 208 weeks as well)...

Okay, my iWatch knows me way too well!

This is probably my favorite page of the whole book, showing that the war wasn‘t as black and white as we think today, Unionist Southerners and Secessionist Northerners did exist.

This book is so enthralling and gave me a much more profound appreciation for the history of the Civil War and the events thereafter that were a direct consequence of it.

This was just as ridiculous, fun, and campy as you would think. If there's a sequel, I might actually read it - especially if young genius PI Abbey Todd shows up again.

I'm with @BooksForYears . This is a holiday that tends to focuses men due to the lack of women presidents. Still, I'd rather celebrate the women who have made it possible through their public service in elected offices for last year to be the first election when a woman is the presidential nominee. Their endeavors will eventually add up to a woman in the White House too. I hope to see a new edition then. #presidential #feistyfeb @RealLifeReading
