I listened to the audio and it took a little while for me to get interested, but it did get better. There were a couple of twists near/at the end that i liked. Part of it wasnt believable. The audio is done by a few different narrators. I‘m not sure I noticed if each of the wives had their own perspectives or not; Diana definitely did, but I‘m not sure about the others. Very enjoyable..haven't been feeling well, so today I was able to walk and finish the book

I‘m trying to be better at bailing on books I‘m not that crazy about or are ‘just okay.‘ As Long As We Both Shall Live by Joann Chaney started out well. Two timelines and a husband likely killing his wife. The lives of the investigating detectives became part of the story, it got confusing, and less interesting for me. A little more than 25% in and I decided it was time to move on.

Very good

This was not quite what I expected… a dark story about obsession set against a backdrop of a mega successful treasure hunting book. I didn‘t really care for any of the characters except posssibly Billie and would@loved to have heard how she really saw it all go down. Nevertheless it was creepy and twisty and an interesting perspective on family secrets

I was drawn to this because it is loosely based on the book Masquerade, a picture book containing clues to a buried treasure which captivated me many, many years ago. I am thoroughly enjoying this story altho reading the heavy print version reminds me why my arthritic old hands prefer the kindle!
