I've been using this book for validation, but also as journal prompts. It's amazing how the right message seems to pop up on just the right day.
#36-2025

A slow start, but it quickly picks up. Geeta‘s wit shines, and the sisterhood she builds with Saloni, Farah, Priya, and Preity is fierce and unforgettable. A bold, layered story that dives into caste and justice—with some very satisfying payback. Book #36 in 2025

My April #Roll100 picks:
#24 Any stories or essays: Every Drop is a Man‘s Nightmare (also my #FictionalTraveler April #Island pick)
#36 Any Non-Fiction: Challenger (Also for April‘s #MonthlyNonFiction)
#16 Any Library Book: Witchcraft for Wayward Girls
I‘m excited about all three of these!

Winter holiday reading season continues with a cozy mystery. Donna Andrews‘ Meg Langslow #36 (birds in every title) dishes up Christmas with a side of murder. Read my full review here: https://debbybrauer.org/#rockin-around-the-chickadee-meg-lang...
Publication is expected October 15.

My plan for next year is to use mostly books I own, because I'm trying to declutter. Our house gets smaller every year!
For November, I already DNF'd #36. #19 is something by Cherie Priest. (I loved her I Am Princess X.) #9 is Panenka which I already ignored once but will try to try. 😊
