Neurodiversity is one of my favourite words. We are all wired a little bit differently. I liked the comparison to biodiversity.
Another work read done and dusted. Some great strengths-based ideas in this 2012 classic. 📗🤓☑️
This heartwarming RF/MF story written by a new author. This story is all about inclusion as a little boy struggles with his physically disability. I would use this book as a RT for characters to be the animals in the story. RT is a great tool for students to learn fluency according to the resource readingrockets.org. The UDL strategies include 5.1 & 2.5 as the story is portrayed as a play.
Thank you, @jenniferw88 for the marvelous Christmas/birthday card! It‘s fabulous!! 😻😻😻 #jb
This “Ideal Book Club” was inspired by @LibrarianRyan - I thought doing a “top 12” for preschoolers would be fun. So here is my best attempt at #myidealbookclub for 3-6 yos (and for those of us who just like reading kids books!!) Thanks again to @monalyisha for this great book club challenge!
Whilst grandad keeps little wild things occupied in the garden I‘m continuing to read this very useful book. Well useful if you are a counsellor specialising in childhood neurodiversity who also has a little boy who has just been diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, ODD and PDA. If you have children in the mix I can highly recommend this one
A just because photo for tonight... not book related at all....but thought I‘d share anyway.
