It was hard to pinpoint their ages for me. They were worried about having sex and making fun of them for not having sex, but then they were afraid to be out and about without an adult… I didn‘t expect the ending but I still had a bunch of questions.

I picked this up because I heard (on litsy) that you should read this prequel novella before reading Into the Deep, which I just got from the library. This was an interesting, quick read. A mockumentary crew goes on a ship to search for “mermaids”, thinking they aren‘t real. Boy were they wrong!

In this book, Lucely can see ghosts, which means she can spend time with her family who‘s passed. Her father runs a ghost tour as their family business. Some weird things are happening to the town so Lucely and her friend have to figure out how to stop it.

So I won this book on #LibraryThing but I didn‘t get the ebook, so I borrowed from KU so I could review it. I probably just shouldn‘t have read it. It‘s a vampire reality tv show… I‘m not a reality tv person, especially the dating ones. 😬😬

This book was very interesting and I love the way the story unfolded. Women in their 80‘s fighting against the patriarchy. There is an old mystery and a murder you have to follow along with and figure out. I really enjoyed it.

Finished the #LMPBC book for September. I skimmed chunks of this book (lots of fight scenes). But overall, I did like the world and the magic and some of the characters.

This is book 2 in the Aurora Teagarden series. Roe inherits when her friend Jane dies. She inherits a house and all her savings. When cleaning Jane‘s house, she finds a skull. She hides it, dates a minister and at first doesn‘t like cats, but warms up to being a pet owner. This one was okay, not much of a mystery really.

I‘ve had this book on my TBR for a while and at first I couldn‘t remember why. It was because it‘s written by the author of the Bear and the Nightingale. This is a middle grade horror novel. Ollie has a bad thing happen to her and she quits the softball team and chess club to just be in her books. They go on a field trip to a farm and all the kids get taken. Ollie and her friends need to figure out who and how to rescue everyone.

It‘s October, which means I have 5 hoopla borrows (only 2 now), so I could continue my Sookie Stackhouse reread. This is book 8 in the series. You got lots of Eric, some witchy stuff, and vampire takeovers.
