My points for the last 3 weeks. A Grand total of 24,849 points! I finished only one #trappedonanisland book, but I managed to read 22 books (a few novellas) and 2 graphic novels. Always my best month and I'm finally out of this reading slump!

Finished this one on Friday. Parker gets bullied and the school gives her a scholarship to a summer camp. When she shows up, one of her bullies is at the camp. So she spreads rumors about Parker and everyone thinks she‘s a horrible person.

Another middle grade mystery book. This one has the family moving from Texas to Oregon. The kids are constantly playing pranks on each other. James starts getting letters saying he‘s being watched by The Keeper.

I‘ve definitely met my goal at this point of reading 31 books in October!!

Finished this one today. Described as Hocus pocus meets Dumplin‘. I haven‘t read Dumplin (though I do own it). There is a family curse and Addie has to try and break it before midnight. This was a very quick read.

Everyone is a witch in this world. When you‘re a kid, you‘re a witchling and are sorted into your coven. All but 3 people (I have no idea why). Every year there are 3 spares. If the spares don‘t become a coven they basically lose their magic. So they invoke some practice to complete a task to become witches.

Maybe I was confused because this was the 3rd book in the series, but I had no idea who was telling this story. The kids pull a prank and the mayor cancels Halloween. (Does a mayor even have that power?)

Instead Halloween is going to be a party at the school but NO candy! And then there are hijinks at the Halloween party.

This was a fun romance and a great pick! It‘s the second book in a row that I‘ve read where the family runs a funeral home. It‘s always crazy to me when someone stays away from their hometown for a really long time, even if their family still lives there. I liked the ghost and romance element too.
