AnneCecilie I haven't finished a book jet. I'm reading 3, and am not sure if I can count anyone of them for mount tbr. One is started in 2017 and the other 2 were bought for buddy reads now in January. I'll come back stronger 😀 6y

Birdsong28 Have finished my first book onto my second. Not had much time as have been working quite a bit but it's helping me keep focused on what I will be reading next as this is my issue as sometimes I am not sure of what I feel like reading and end up reading books I have just bought. 📚📖 6y
Valink I just joined today, so when I get home from work I plan on browsing my piles of books and setting a goal for myself of which/how many of my already owned books to read this year. Do books that I started a year or two ago then abandoned count if I finish them this year? I have a pile of those too! 😂😂 6y
LeahBergen I‘m currently reading The Luminaries which has been on my TBR for 4 years .... so I‘m doing pretty well! 😂😂 6y

DivaDiane @Riveted_Reader_Melissa Yes, but they require the book to have been purchased before 2018. At this point in our game, yes, but we are also for library books, school textbooks, anything that‘s been waiting at least a month, but the longer it‘s been languishing the better! 6y

DivaDiane @Eggs That‘s fine! We don‘t require you to read ONLY TBRs, but if you need some rigor you could stipulate that you may read/purchase one new book for every 2 (or whatever you think will work for you) read from your TBR Pile. 6y

DivaDiane @Pamwurtzler Library books count, sort of because they are on a deadline. Especially, if you‘ve had to renew them because they‘ve gone unread. Also, if they‘ve been on a Want-to-read list for a long time, they can count. It‘ll leave it up to you how lenient you want to allow yourself to be. 6y

DivaDiane @Amandajoy Oh, that‘s too bad! Do you have to drive? For me Travel means lots of time to read. I usually take trains or fly. But if I you have to drive you could try audiobooks. But that won‘t necessarily reduce your TBR 😩 6y

Amandajoy I usually do audio books when driving or flying because I get sick if I read. Right now I‘m traveling for work/school stuff so it means I don‘t have a lot of down time to read. Hopefully it‘ll get better soon, but I‘m starting a new program so I may not get a lot of reading done in the next couple months. 6y
