This was a fun music inspired retelling of The Little Mermaid. I loved the Disney movie as a girl so it was delightful to find all the connections with that story & see how the author brought Ariel & Eric to a modern timeline. The music theme w/ Eric‘s up & coming band + Ariel‘s pop princess background added a fun element to the story.
monalyisha Oooohhh. I don‘t know if I need this or if it‘s best to avoid it. 😅 I was OBSESSED with The Little Mermaid as a kid. And then, coincidentally (?) the first boy who broke my heart was named Ariel. A real toss-up! 1w

MeganAnn @monalyisha that is a toss-up! I think anyone who loved the Disney movie will likely enjoy this for the nostalgia factor. But if you don‘t want to revisit the coordinating heartbreak then perhaps it‘s not for you. 🤔 I think you might also enjoy the touring band/music scene part of it too with your husband‘s musicality. 1w
