Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief ⚡️ by Rick Riordan is a thrilling adventure through Greek mythology. A gripping plot, relatable characters, and witty humor make it a must-read for book lovers. Riordan's world-building is exceptional, transporting you to a world of gods and monsters. #PercyJackson #LightningThief #RickRiordan #GreekMythology #Adventure #MustRead #BookReview #PageTurner #YA #Fantasy #ActionPacked #HeroicJourney #Magical

Wow, what a great #LMPBC pick, @CareBear - I really loved this one!! In fact, it‘s my favorite so far of our picks! I loved the world building- a #PerfectPleasure for a book lover!! The magical books and libraries combined with the #ActionPacked plot made this just a lot of fun to read! The characters are great, too! I really loved it! Headed your way tomorrow, @babyruth2510 #NewYearNewYou #AuldLangReads

Saw the film of this #ActionPacked novel. I should probably try and read the book, because I didn‘t have a clue what was going on in the film most of the time!

Lreads I love this movie! 4y
DrexEdit I loved all the Bourne movies! 😊 But haven't read any of the books. I looked up the movie on IMDB and discovered there's a 1988 Bourne Identity movie (or TV special, can't tell which) with Richard Chamberlain and Jaclyn Smith. Now I kinda want to see that! 👍😄 4y

One of the few action books that character development was as important as the plot.

I liked this one! It‘s a genre-busting, #actionpacked combo of dystopian and Western. I liked the MC, Pity, a lot and the pacing was good.

#popsugar2020 - a Western

runswithscissors007 Since finishing Deadwood I have been looking for a alternate Western! This looks perfect! 4y
OriginalCyn620 @runswithscissors007 I‘ve seen mixed reviews but I liked it! Hope you do too! 4y

#AuldLangReads Day 27: Kenneth‘s review: “The first book that I finished reading in 2020 was Mythos by Stephen Fry, and I have just started to read the follow up to that book, Heroes. I sped through the first volume, totally absorbed by this retelling of well-known tales of chaos and creation, Olympian gods and goddesses, and some foolhardy humans.”
#ActionPacked indeed. Full review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-loQ

Melismatic Sounds interesting! Is it written in a textbooky way or is it more accessible? 4y
GatheringBooks @Melismatic textbooky in an accessible pulse-racing manner is how Kenneth (one of our GatheringBooks contributors) has described it. 💕🧚🏼‍♀️📚 4y
