I felt #ambivalent and conflicted about this book. But overall, it was an #intriguing and #whimsical novel. If you're the reader who likes a lot of descriptions and don't mind the slow pace, you'd enjoy this book a lot more.

I love Cozies, however, I‘ve never heard of this author: Kristi Holl. The cover looks like something right up my alley, but I‘m unsure who this person is, have any of you guys read her work? #ambivalent

rustoryhuf When I lived in Iowa, I knew an author named Kristi Holl. This was in the 1980s, so I‘m not certain if it would be her. 7y

MeikyuuAgeha @rustoryhuf I believe that‘s actually her! When I researched it further this is actually a mystery series written by different authors. ✊️ 7y

rustoryhuf She started out writing YA mysteries if I remember correctly. She used to bring her small children to our story time and talk to us about themes for that age group. Those kids would be in their 30s to 40s now 😮 Glad to hear she is still writing. 7y
