pickOh I loved this! Demon as a narrator was just heartbreakingly gorgeous - self-aware but also naive to the world around him.
This is my favourite Kingsolver book; it felt almost autobiographical and I learned so much about Appalachia and the opioid crisis, but it was less preachy and less didactic than some of her other novels.
