I‘ll definitely be digging into this much anticipated novel when I get home from my mini-vacation. I love this cover too, all sepia and gray tones with that little splash of blue and purple at the top. This is going to be really good!

Another beautiful book from Nicole Dennis-Benn that gave me all the feelings.

I love the Jamaican setting, the two main characters who are sisters with quite a few years between them. Older sister Margot wants so much for Thandi to have a better life than she‘s had, and she‘s willing to do just about anything for that to happen.

Although heartbreaking and enraging, I could relate to both sisters and I really loved this book. #autobuyauthor

If this isn't my favourite series, it's pretty damn close!

I read The Fourth Monkey and JD Barker has been an #autobuyauthor ever since. If you're into serial killer thrillers.....I highly, highly recommend!

I swear, this man could write a menu and I would rate it 5 stars!

This one is quite a bit different and a slower pace than his previous books but it is just as compelling and hard to put down...even at it's 700ish pages!

Spanning many years, this is a love story, a thriller and a paranormal mind fuck all in one.
