Monty is a disaster. Felicity tries to help. Percy is adorable. Incredibly funny and sweet.

First read when it was gift from author for Pre Ordering: The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy
Glad it finally made it to actual Book. Can't wait to see more of this family in: The Nobleman's Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks. 💙💙💙💙💙

When your book is so good you actually take time to eat breakfast at the table so you can read. Also trying to start the week off like a real, functioning adult, so at least one thing has gone right so far this Monday! #booksforbreakfast

ItsAngel That is a fantastic book!! A favorite! 7y
erinreads @ItsAngel 😉 I‘m glad you picked it! 7y
RebelReader I‘m so glad you are loving it! It‘s one of my favs! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 7y

ItsAngel @erinreads I can‘t believe we are so close to the end of the swap!! 😳 @sprainedbrain and I were trying to figure it out the other day. Thank you again for organizing it! 7y
erinreads @ItsAngel Some books are a little off schedule and probably won‘t make it to its original home in two months, but at least everything is accounted for, so I know everyone will get theirs back at some point. 🤗 It‘s been fun to read books that were never even on my radar, like yours! Now I‘m trying to decide if I want to do it again. 7y
sprainedbrain @erinreads @ItsAngel I would love to do it again with you ladies! 7y

Alright, i get the poor reviews but i thought it was still fun. Maybe because I read Sejal as the main character? It does feel like two books smooshed together, and the first with the high school snark was preferable. I wish there were more about being fat for eternity since that's what i came for 😂 it made me think of Bill's sideburns in the Sookie Stackhouse books 😘 #mommyreads #booksforbreakfast #vampires #booksandcoffee

ElizaMarie Yeah! I just finished it and I enjoyed it but... I wanted to hear more about the whole fat for life thing. Like more his struggle with being a Teen for life too! 5y

Throwback to babe's first book party of the new year while we were in Okinawa. We went up to the rooftop bar for the view and free guava juice, and the sweet staff brought him over a couple more books when they saw him happily reading 💘 #babyreads #booksatthebeach #booksforbreakfast #japan

I love the way this series revolves around a central office but is narrated by different characters. Each book has a distinct perspective and feel. This one is much more of a traditional crime procedural which isn't my jam -- gross descriptions. And the crime here is harder to read than the others. But I still enjoyed reading the story and felt a bit sad when spending time with the characters ended. #mommyreads #crime #booksforbreakfast

Ugh. Day seven of toddler jetlag (15hr time difference) 🕓🕔🕕🕖 i die. Currently listening to him push every noise making button in the house while I drink yesterday's coffee, read graphic novels, and hope someone with more spoons wakes up soon to help 😴😴😴 #mommyreads #comics #graphicnovel #booksandcoffee #booksforbreakfast #jetlag

My Saturday morning breakfast of champions #booksforbreakfast Loving this book, going to HPB today to see if they have the sequel ☺️

hlgreenfield I just ordered this book this morning. I'd been seeing good reviews all around and I'd decided it was going to be part of my next purchase. Since I ordered Men at arms this morning for some more discworld fun, I had to add this one to the basket! Can't wait to get it. I just sounds exactly like my sort of book. 7y
Aims42 @hlgreenfield haha we are book soul mates today! The character development in this book is amazing. I can honestly say I've never read a book quite like it. I've got Guards! Guards! and Men at Arms packed for my trip next week 7y

#booksforbreakfast this morning is a homemade crispy waffle with strawberries, Nespresso and a book translated from French. If the author's name sounds familiar, it's because she wrote Three Strong Women which won the Prix Goncourt in 2009

HardcoverHearts I'm interested in your thoughts on this one. 8y

Attempted #booksforbreakfast with the help of our local grocery in an effort to finish up in progress books before the year end...and then babe woke up. sigh. i love reading David Lebovitz, though, and these short chapters stand alone which is helpful for brief reading moments. #mommyreads #food #paris #cookbook

mcipher Breakfast looks delicious. Mommy eating/reading can be so tough to get time for! 8y
