This novel about the influenza epidemic in 1918 Colorado is fascinating so far, but there‘s one line I just can‘t relate to.

The two sisters often tell each other “Dream of clowns,” the way most of us would say “Pleasant dreams.” It‘s because they have fond memories of a childhood trip to the circus, but clowns are the last thing I want to dream of! 😳 #coulrophobia #ARC #HappyHalloween
