pickDead Air definitely starts out differently than most of the other Doctor Who stories. It was intriguing and kept my attention all the way through. I found that I was really wondering how everything was going to come to an end. I just wish it had been a little bit longer. It was a little too short, in my opinion. The ending was definitely memorable, kind of open to speculation. It worked really well for how the story was structured.
panI just didn't like this one. I couldn't get into it, it didn't keep my attention. I found that I was just trying to get through it, so I could say I had finished it. The characters featured alongside the doctor just weren't interesting at all. But, I have finished it, and can now move on from it.
pickThe beginning of this book was really good, the ending slowed a little bit. I did enjoy the whole thing though, it kept my attention while I listened to it.
so-soFirst of all, I love almost everything David Tennant narrates, so I might be a bit biased when reviewing this book.
Second, Donna is in this book, so of course I loved her character. All of her personality was present within the book, the writer did her justice.
Third, the actual storyline was just okay. It didn't have much interest to me, but it did seem like a Doctor Who episode. It just wasn't one I would particularly enjoy.

One of my favourite actors, David Tennant, plays Dennis Nilsen in a true crime drama, and I decided this was the perfect time to learn about the lunatic he plays before the show comes out later in September.
