I‘m over 3 decades late to the train, but I am loving the Dinotopia series. The story is interesting, the illustrations are amazing. I‘m in awe on every page. I want so many hung up on my walls!

Stumbled upon this on Amazon the other day and couldn‘t resist buying it. I don‘t remember anything about it except that I loved it as a kid… if nothing else, the kids will enjoy flipping through it
New book in! I love the art by james gurney and I love dinotopia.

I wanted to LOVE this. As someone who grew up on lost-world-fantasy lit, I thought this was going to be my jam! But my reading identity has changed drastically. Now, I need a plot's momentum to keep me invested. Dinotopia (bk 1) did not have that sort of plot or high stakes. Then again, this isn't that sort of story. It's good for Jules Verne fans and simply lingering over (the artwork? STUNNING).

New home, new community and that means new library. Pretty exciting right? Well I visited today for the 1st time and this single shelf was all they had for Romance and the shelf on the other side was for Scifi/Fantasy. Just 1 shelf each. Im just glad there are ebooks.
I reminisced about a book series, Dynotipia. Do people remember this? It was beautifully illustrated and the story was exciting to read. Highly recommend to read even as an adult!
Hello happy readers. Found this and had to share. How many of these places have you journeyed to? So many good stories and adventures here. Hope your all well and enjoying a good read 📖📚❤️🙃
Busting out one of my fave shirts today!
Gonna focus on the egg laying component of “6 geese a‘laying” for the #12DaysofChristmas Here are dinosaurs laying their eggs in the comfort of the hatchery in northwestern Dinotopia.
And dinosaurs are related to birds so it‘s all good.
