so-soYes it was exciting. But so very different than expected and in the middle part it dragged. And it is clearly the wrong season for the book. pickThis book has great tea party ideas - including savories, sweets and matching teas. I‘ll admit most of the recipes are beyond my culinary skills (which are very low) but I did tab two recipes to try - toasted cheese buns and long John‘s lime cookies, both inspired by Treasure Island.

pickI checked this out on Hoopla. It had several interesting techniques in it. I'm glad I didn't purchase it, because I went through it fairly quickly and don't think that I'll refer to it more than once or twice. Several of the drawings in it have Bible verses on them, but I didn't feel like it was shoved on me or anything. If that bothers you, though, then you may want to skip this one.
