#DraculaDaily
Hmm....Bram Stoker really does not like “ New Women“, does he?! Women do propose to men and it goes perfectly well....and if it doesn't , that's because men's minds aren't open enough!!

Finished #DraculaDaily this morning! It was a great read and I‘m glad I got to experience it through substack. #pop22 ~ a book set in Victorian times

Cinfhen I finally “read” Dracula two years ago🧛‍♂️ I listened to a BBC recording with a large cast of fabulous actors…it was really good!! 1y
BarbaraBB I read it not too long ago too. Great picture too! 1y
Cortg @cinfhen Oooh, this would be a good listen with a cast of characters. Maybe I‘ll revisit it in a few years! 1y

Cortg @BarbaraBB Yeah! Frankenstein & Jekyll & Hyde are on my list as well. 1y
squirrelbrain I only read it last year, around this time. Whitby Abbey is less than 2 hours from me… 🧛‍♂️ 1y
Cortg @squirrelbrain Nice! My husband‘s been. I would love to visit there someday! 1y

I‘m taking a weekly online class on Dracula to mark its 125 anniversary, and am decorating the inside cover of my class notebook (all black paper from Archer & Olive, so delicious) with my doodles. #draculaanniversary #doodles #art

I've been wanting to read this for awhile now. I loved the movie! ...and the whole Dracula thing has always fascinated me. I won the book at my book clubs annual wine and book exchange, but decided to do the audio version instead of reading the book. It was 18 hours and I absolutely loved every minute of it! It was so well done by the various narrators. So happy to check this off my TBR list ✔

SRWCF Such a great book! 2y

Look for this one in late 2020. It‘s a collaboration with the Lugosi estate.

BeansPage Fun fact, I got to meet the members of the Lugosi estate including Bela Lugosi Jr. He loved my son so much that he bounced him on his knee and gave him an autographed Funko Pop Dracula doll. I have pictures if you would like to see 😊 5y

Best airport bookstore I've seen yet. Only bought one book, but that's just because I actually have room for negative two books in my bag already

Curley_Bender A fine looking bookstore. What airport? 8y
SGJ Milwaukee. 8y
dogra A friend of mine told me about that bookstore, years ago. She loved it and, once or twice, even brought me back some hard-to-find titles. I don't think she's visited it in a while, though. Good to see it's still around. 8y
