Jade Legacy | Fonda Lee

My favorite book of May was hands down Jade Legacy by Fonda Lee. It‘s going to be a tough one to beat too! I cannot recommend the Green Bone Saga trilogy enough!

I tried *REALLY* hard to narrow my top books from 2022, and did pretty alright considering that my list started with 49 books on it. I didn't include multiple books from the same series. If I had to pick only one top book, it would be the tagged. #FavoriteReads #TopBooks2022

Taking a look back at 2021 in reading, and the tagged book was miles away my favorite of last year. Second place went to the Bridgerton series, if I'm honest; I binged it in about a week and it was the most silly reading fun I've had in some time. Solid honorable mentions include two #PersephonePicks (The Fortnight in September will be a yearly read for me) and Wintering, a wonderful reminder to slow down sometimes! #FavoriteReads #YearInReview

abookishbutterfly @EadieB I‘ll be starting Just Mercy soon! Probably tomorrow. If I had read The Silent Patient in 2019, it definitely would have made my list! But I read the ARC in 2018 so it‘s a favorite of that year instead. 5y

Pickpick

Here are some of my favorite books of all time! I can remember distinctly where I was when I read each of these. The Help was during the hot summer after I graduated high school, Jane Eyre was in a drizzly cold February month as I attended my favorite literature class, The Snow Child was when snowflakes were falling all around, and Emma was during a cleansing springtime rain. All were magical and hit me at the perfect time.
