Wasn‘t as impressed with this one. I just think this one moves a lot fast then the other 2 did. A lot happened all at once without enough time to develop what happens. I still enjoyed the series but this one was the weakest

1. Tagged, the final book in the Jade Bone Saga
2. Not counting my many DNF‘s, my lowest rated finished book was The Nanny by Lana Ferguson - too long, boring and predictable.
3. Veg at my house and probably be asleep well before midnight.
4. I don‘t, though I did go shopping today!
5. Very brown. My Christmas morning was super foggy and rainy.

The ending 😭 so bittersweet. Words cannot articulate how much I recommend The Green Bone Saga! #LitsyLoveReads
Wow. I didn‘t cry-cry but definitely shed tears.
The whole series, not just this last book, could‘ve been shorter, though. But at the same time, I want more. 🫠
Nevertheless, I thought the ending was perfect.
My favorite book of May was hands down Jade Legacy by Fonda Lee. It‘s going to be a tough one to beat too! I cannot recommend the Green Bone Saga trilogy enough!

Wow! This was a nail-biting epic finale to one of the best fantasy series I have ever read. I highly recommend this series, which is mix of urban fantasy, gangster drama, ode to classic martial arts films and period piece. It deserves all of buzz and praise. 5 giant ⭐️
#bookspin done!

Finally finished the Greenbones Saga. This had its up and downs and pulling of the heartstrings moments. Sweeping 30 year history of a clan family, I can see why it has been compared The Godfather series.
A brilliant conclusion to an outstanding series! This saga of rival clans in an Asian-inspired fantasy world is a moving story of family, loyalty and forgiveness but also features great martial arts sequences and a suspenseful plot.
Nominated for a 2022 Aurora Best Novel award and a 2022 Hugo Best Series award.

I met most of my goals for the #MarvellousMay readathon, including finishing 4 books.
My other goal was to make progress on my cross-stitch piece for this month's #LitsyCrafters theme. I started working on the outer border. Those purple Jessica stitches are pretty but so tedious to do, and I've got 64 of them to complete!

Wow that was a stunningly beautiful conclusion to this trilogy. My heart was hurting and I cried multiple times but I am a bit of a sap. Definately read this series if you like family drama and modern fantasy.
On the heels of the #hugoawards announcement, the #auroraawards ballot was announced yesterday. These are the #Canadian SFF awards, and I hope to finish all the novel nominees (and more) before the voting deadline.

Incredible world building. Complicated characters that you can't help but to grow attached. I may have ugly cried on several occasions. Five stars for each book on it's own. Together as a trilogy: *chef's kiss*
Been spending a lot of time with audiobooks these past few months since I can listen to them at work now. This narrator is...not my favorite but I've had this book on hold for like a month and a half and now that I've started I want to finish it (and it's not *terrible* narration, just not to my taste), so I will accept 26 more hours of this narration 😅
