pickDefinitely a niche book, this one looks at artisan cheeses made in the US. We learn a bit about the cheese and the cheesemakers with each one as well as drink/food pairings and comps. pickThis book took a while to get through but was full of information, antidotes, laughter and tears. More than anything, it was an eye-opener to the background of the foods I take for granted every day. Even if you need to skip the scientific information to get through it, this book is worth the read.
