House of Sand and Fog - I really can‘t remember... it‘s been so many years!
Hunger- #Unpopularopinion Even when bad things happen to you, you can choose to move past it OR you can choose to blame your parents and everyone else and write about it in a book. I couldn‘t finish it, just seemed like pages and pages of self pity... I speak as a survivor of sexual abuse who moved past it.

Usually when I DNF, I fully intend to finish at some point! I just lose steam and think, "I'll set it aside for now and come back to it later." Here are #3Books #IDNFed that I *will* pick up again someday! Really!

It‘s REALLY rare for me DNF a book, as my super power seems to be knowing what I‘ll like! 😂
If I DNF it‘s usually for a challenge or a bookclub (but I try and finish those too!)
-Sense and sensibility just didn‘t work as a modern re-telling as it didn‘t ring true for the modern world.
-High Dive I wanted to love, as it‘s set in the 80s in my home town, but I just couldn‘t get into it.
- The Turner House just didn‘t grab me 🤷♀️

I used to never give up on books, but the older I get, the easier it's gotten. I dnf books all the time now. These 3 are somewhat unique in that I have tried multiple times to read each one. Twice with Night Circus and CRA. I got pretty far into 1Q84 on my 4th try. None are bad books. But for some reason I find myself putting them down and not picking them back up. Maybe one day.
