I‘ve taken a 6 month break between each book but there‘s plenty of details sprinkled throughout without getting bogged down with history.
pickI really didn‘t picture myself being as in to this series as I am. Book 2 was also really good, some big secrets get exposed, some of the girls dig themselves into deeper trouble trying to save face. The pace is nonstop, drama in every chapter, no filler. Ridiculous. Loved it.

So many uniquely scummy grown ass men in the lives of these teen girls, & just awful parenting all around. Really really bad 😂 lots of brand names are dropped if you want to read it for the early 00s nostalgia pop.

pickStarted this after becoming obsessed with the show. Actually really enjoyed the book, it's so different to the TV programme but loved it.

A reasonable entry to the series, it was satisfactory. The plot was set on a cruise ship 🚢 which gave it an more claustrophobic feeling for the liars. How can they then escape A:s wrath? The four liars had an decent character development, like accepting their fate and staying together as a group. Which I think was the aspect that let me at the end give it 3 stars instead of 2 stars.
