pickA Quilt for Christmas is a sweet story. I loved that it used so many different characters to tell the story, it all fit together beautifully. There were a lot of tender moments throughout and it really was one of the better novellas I have read recently.

pickA sweet second chance/fake dating Hanukkah story. Also it‘s narrated by Andrew Eiden, one of my fave narrators. The female narrator is okay, not my fave as she‘s a little nasally.

I received the most wonderful gift today… a friend of the family made me this quilt, with fabric from my mom‘s clothes and other sewing projects my mom had made over the years. There are so many sweet memories of my mom in these fabrics. 💜💔
And I had no idea she would make it in a bookshelf pattern!! I love it so much.
Made from scraps of family‘s old clothes, it will always reflect the family, and help them “remember”.
pickAnother one of my favorite picture books used in my placement. This story touches on the heartwarming relationship with a grandparent. Tanya‘s grandma is working on an heirloom quilt for her family, when she falls ill, Tanya steps up and finished it herself.
