Really loving this series. Eve is such a complex character and I just adore Roarke.

#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong I really enjoyed this contribution to the series. What‘s interesting is I read that this series was originally meant to be a trilogy. It would have ended with the wedding! Instead we‘re up to…what, book 65 or something?? I can‘t wait to see what further growth the characters have and who else joins this crazy cast of characters. A few points to discuss are in the comments:
Read as #InDeathLongReadathon. It was good to see the characters grow. I see Eve and Roarke totally different in the second time reading this series. I am happy I decided to re read this series @StayCurious Come and join us for the next one in the series. Two bingo spots with two different editions. #ISpyBingo @Clwojick @TheAromaofBooks #ReadAwayReaththon #SeriesLove24 #MarvelousMarchReadsthon @Andrew65 @TheSpineView @DieAReader @GHABI4ROSES

Another superb entry in the In Death series! Eve confronts parts of her past and has to prove her bff‘s innocence. I laughed out loud in a couple of parts, and I‘m enjoying how much Eve and even Roarke have grown so far. Cannot wait to see what is in store for them next. #InDeathLongReadalong
#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR: Mavis gets fired, poor thing and Eve‘s house is taken over by fashionable characters for a night as they target her hair and wardrobe before the wedding.
Eve has a terrible nightmare/memory and finally relives what happened on that final fateful night.
Peabody gets closer to Casto, even though he has shown a bit of flirty interest in Eve.
Eve finds her unknown - the immortal flower -deadly, beautiful and illegal⬇️
#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.6-10: - we finally learn why Roarke keeps Summerset around and it‘s a sad story. I liked catching a glimpse into Roarke‘s past.
At least Mavis is smart enough to have faith in Eve and not blame her for having to arrest her. Hopefully that‘ll hold. ⬇️
#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR #ReadAway2024 #SeriesLove2024 I‘m enjoying this series more with each book. There is some wonderful character growth in this book and things from the past are revealed. Recommended.
#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong ch.1-5 So far, this book has me hooked! Eve is planning her wedding (a bit reluctantly since it requires dress shopping with Mavis) and soon she finds herself in the middle of two complex cases - one where her informant was killed over a new potent and poisonous drug - and one where a tricky love triangle that involves Mavis leaves one woman dead and the other a prime suspect! Whew-we‘re thrown right into it aren‘t we?
I‘m excited even if Eve is less than thrilled. 😆😆😆

#IDLR Hey guys! we‘re on to book 3 in the #InDeathLongReadalong - and this month we‘re going to check in each week to see where everyone is at and to keep motivated and active. We‘ll make Sunday our check in day, with final discussion on March 31. Since there are 20 chapters I‘ll split it up to 5 chapters a week for the discussions. Let me know if you want to be taken off our main tag list - looking forward to reading with you all!
So three in and I love these books so I‘ll be moving on to the next book…. It interesting how close we are to starting me off the processes she utilized in the book yet not quite there in terms of technology implementation of said processes… I don‘t want to spoil it so you‘ll have to read the books to discover more 😊📖
This is the third book in this series, and the last one available at the library, so I‘m going to have to stop here for a while. It‘s been so many years since I read this series that it‘s like new! I had forgotten that it starts off in the year 2058, so that adds a fun twist as well. The three I‘ve read have helped me enormously this month, as I‘ve had a hard time concentrating the last couple weeks. Great series, which I‘ll definitely continue.
#BookReport
Only managed to finish the last of my sick days read. However, I did make good inroads into my long term reads.
#WeeklyForecast
Goal this week is to try and get near the finish line on Orphan Tales and stay current with GoT Chapter A Day
Low pick for this one because I enjoyed my time with it but the characters are flattening out and not having as much growth. The mystery was solid but easy to guess because like tv shows you know the guest star is probably the one who did it. I will read on in the series though because I enjoy the characters and the world.
I‘m screaming. Book 3 of 58!!!!! 🙀 Well I got lots of easy reads ahead of me with this series. Lieutenant Dallas gets married in this one, so I hear.

1. Definitely Nora Roberts/JD Robb, as I‘ve read all of the In Death series and many of her Nora books.
2. On my recliner on my couch with a dog in my lap.
3. I sure do!
Thanks for the tag @SeaToSkyes & @peanutnine
What about you @ValkyrieAndHerBooks
These are good reads but I don‘t quite see the hype.
Really enjoying this series. Just a really good easy read.
Started listening to the third book in the In Death series on my commute today.
The book is alright... not bad not great.... ideal to have around during this ridiculous time....corona virus be damned
Finished this one last night. Going to read Dean Koontz The Night Window and perhaps Cherokee America for a little break, then on to the next three of In Death.
I didn‘t dislike Rourke nearly as much in this one as I did in the previous two books. The book was good. This was probably a similar rating as what I gave the first two books, I think. Decent story, but nothing overly special. I was surprised at the ending. Will I continue the series? I suppose I probably will, at least for now. They are quick to read.
Eve Dallas investigates when Mavis is accused of murder.
I quite liked this one, and I definitely like Officer Peabody. She has a great line in deadpan wit and adds another dimension to Dallas in their interactions. Rating: 4 🌟
This is Cole, (yes I named him after the character in Charmed) and he‘s been enjoying the heat today - the little demon 😂
I‘ve just spent a satisfying 10 minutes unfollowing dormant accounts on Litsy. Looks much better now so I‘m heading back to the books.
📚In Death Series-J.D. Robb, I‘ve read them all!
📚Dark Hunters Series-Sherrilyn Kenyon
📚A little bit of both
📚Yes! Going on 4 years, I lead it too.

Still great. Still love Eve and Roarke.
3 down, 43 to go! #romantsy
A certain toddler named Lilah is teething. A certain mama named Josie had a bag of books ready to be traded in. Teething toddler decided she needed to taste them, just in case they make a good teething toy. Louie the dog woke up like that.
Another series I wish I started to read sooner. I'm in love with Eve and Roarke.
Loved this one! Seeing Eve desperate to protect her best friend and family Mavis while still doing her job was amazing.
