I'm really enjoying my #currentread 📚. I may even like it better than the first book so far. Unfortunately, I've been a bit too busy to get in much reading lately, but hopefully, I can find some time today. What is everyone reading right now? Anything new that you've absolutely loved? #readingrecommendations

Check out my blog for a list of #afrolatinxbooks to add to your #tbr and read. I wanted to keep supporting the voices of Black writers especially during these turbulent times. #blacklivesmatter and stories are an imperative way to communicate and foster compassion. Happy Friday Folks! I have your Friday the 13th #PickFiveFriday selections! This week my picks are not only great books, but specifically great audiobooks. My jobs have ‘forced‘ me to become better (not perfect) at multi-tasking and this means I can still enjoy reading even if my hectic schedule keeps me from paper format reading. I don't have space for my reasoning, but you can find it at the link in my bio 😊. #readingrecommendations

I wanted to 'try' a new thing for Fridays. As long as my schedule allows and I'm feeling motivated 😉. Recently a newer customer asked me what books I would recommend and I'm used to my regulars asking me, but sometimes new customers aren't as trusting. So I'm starting #PickFiveFridays. It won't always be books. I don't have space for my reasoning here, but if you want to know there's a link in my bio. #readingrecommendations 😁

I really REALLY enjoyed this one!
I‘m also only partially concerned that I can relate to her thoughts...
If you are looking for a funny book with an individual uniqueness, Lawson is highly recommended in my books!

I to question, why they don‘t consider Jesus a zombie? 🧐 🧟‍♂️

JessNevertheless Loved this book too! I definitely felt that I might have related to her a bit too much 😂 6y
KateFulfordAuthor If you like strong characters and laugh out loud dialogue, may I recommend my debut novel to you? 6y

Jodi Picoult fans, lend me your ears!

I read Weights and Measures in a short story collection this year (tagged), and it took my breath away. Literally. I was weeping by the end of the story, and had to pause the audiobook several times to compose myself. It was that good.

I want to read more by Jodi Picoult, but where should I start? Send me your recommendations!

saguarosally I've only read two books by her but they were both intriguing. 7y
KCorter @saguarosally Really? Which ones? 😊 7y
Jess7 Fair warning I am not a huge fan of Jodi Picoult, but I did enjoy this one (even though I was ready to slap her racist character Turk). 7y

KCorter Thanks for the heads up, @Jess7! 7y
saguarosally @KCorter Small Great Things and Leaving Time. I'm also trying to get my biggest Picoult fan friend to respond. 😄 7y
KCorter Thanks, @saguarosally! I'll add it to the list 7y
KCorter P.S. Thanks to @morgan_krahn for recommending Small Great Things and 7y
Coleen I've not read all of Picoult's, but I've read a lot. Have enjoyed almost all of them & don't really have a fave, but one I did not care for was The Tenth Circle. 7y
Robothugs I think what Litsy folk are trying to tell you, is to close your eyes and point. 😜 7y
ReadingEnvy @Coleen ha I was going to say The Tenth Circle was my favorite! 7y
KCorter @Coleen and @ReadingEnvy, it was worth making this post for this interaction alone. I love it! 7y
KCorter I think you're right, @Robothugs! 😊 7y
ThatBookishGal That‘s funny I actually enjoyed The Tenth Circle, but it was my first Piccoult. The other ones I would recommend are The Pact and My Sisters Keeper (which is waaaaaaay better than the movie!). The Pact is a real tear jerker! 7y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks You really can't go wrong!!! 7y
Lmstraubie Small Great Things and 7y
EllieDottie I've read about 7 or 8 of her novels and my favorite was Lone Wolf! 7y
JulAnna Mercy or Plain Truth 7y
morgan_krahn Also check out Perfect Match and 7y
KCorter It certainly seems that way, @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks! 7y
Eggs Storyteller, perfect match, small great things, house rules, 19 minutes, sister's keeper 🤗 7y
KCorter I will definitely add those! Thanks, @Eggs! 7y

So, I'm realizing that one of the genres I've neglected as a reader is erotica (I've come to respect the skills required for a writer in this genre). Any suggestions for a well-written ebook novella series? Preferably something in dark fantasy. #readingsuggestions #recommendations #readingrecommendations #erotica #eroticfantasy #darkfantasy #suggestions

Maribela21 I loved the succubus series by Jill Miles and the fallen series by Kristina Douglas...these are my favorite type of books...hope this helps 6y
BillBlume @Maribela21 thanks! I‘ll definitely check those out. 6y
Maribela21 @BillBlume let me know if you like them, I have a ton more suggestions. 6y
