pickThis was a slow burner horror but boy, when it got going it was full of a menacing dread that won‘t let go. I‘ve always thought I‘d make a good hermit, as long as I had all my books & music but being a hermit in the arctic is another animal entirely. ImperfectCJ I've only known a few people who've read this one! I really enjoyed it and also Thin Air by the same author. My kids like Paver's middle-grade Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series, too. 5y
