I'm currently spinning a blend of alpaca, silk and wool. I plan on chain plying it, making it a 3 ply yarn with finished. I'm not sure what I will make with it. It will depend on how many yards I get after plying. @Catsandbooks

bookishbitch @PaperbackPirate It will likely end up as an accent area in a project I have in mind for some qiviut yarn I also spun. Although I'm about to spin some cashmere too, so it might depend on how well the colors go together with either yarn. 5mo

Finally have my list together for August‘s #bookspin. Not totally happy with it, but my brain is not braining and I had to throw a couple things on there when I realized that my original list duplicated titles. 🤦🏻‍♀️ There are five NetGalley titles that publish in August, a sequel I‘ve been dying to get my hands on for six months, #CampLitsy, and books I really want to read. We‘ll see how the month goes.

I keep getting these ads on FB, and they have inspired an obsession with getting a bookshelf that spins. I don‘t have the room or the $$ for it, but it‘s going on the “someday library” list.

Kitta I have one! I love it. It‘s holds quite a few books (mine is round, 5 tiers and holds 120 “medium” books) and the spinning is smooth. I got mine impulsively from the TikTok shop or maybe flycity. 😆 My cats like to jumping from the sofa to the top of it though and it freaks me out haha. I keep thinking it‘s going to topple over but so far it‘s been sturdy. Happy with it! @Chrissyreadit @BarbaraJean 6mo
