Reading and crochet update. Here are my books and granny squares from January to May.
They need to be blocked, and then I'll start joining them all together.

Loving how this cotton yarn is working up so far. Making some face clothes. Yarn is Bernat handicrafter.
Mother‘s Day free books haul!
We were on our way to my mom‘s and a neighbor had things out in their driveway with a “Free” sign. I spotted stacks of books and immediately pulled in. 😅 There was a good selection but either they weren‘t for me or I already had them. But these three! The tagged has been on my wishlist for a bit. I love that there are post-it bookmarks left in by the previous owner. I can spy what crafts caught their interest. 🤣

Saw this on Facebook to make mini books. The crafters precut foam tape is at DollarTree, according to the post.
I‘ve been wanting to make mini books and then place them in a clear tree ornament.
I liked very few of the projects in this book. I would definitely not call all of them upcycled, and many of them needed more detailed instructions. Also, the author seemed really arrogant. But there are some good ideas and useful tips (like what kind of glue to use), and I think one of the things about upcycling is it‘s hard to say “here‘s a project you can do” because it‘s so dependent on what materials you have at hand. Borrow, not buy.
I‘ve been sick the last couple days and Let This Radicalize You is just too much for my tired brain to take right now. This seems like it will do the trick instead.
