Enjoying this book more than any I‘ve read in quite some time. Sitting out in the sun with #Loki whose fur looks odd because I trimmed it myself rather than the pros he is used to. Trying to take things one day at a time and not watch news!!!! Hi Littens!
I hope you are all safe and healthy. We are under quarantine for more than one week now because of the Covid-19. I'm currently under stress and in a reading slump. My grandmother will be 94years old next month, my father in law have respiratory problems. We are so worry for them and other people too. Last week I didn't post on my social media because I need to deal with my panic.

We are second week in quarantine now and I hope that the whole situation will calm down. Almost whole Europe in under quarantine. How are you? I heard that NY is under quarantene too. 4y

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @maich New York and New Jersey are the worst places hit!! As for my family we are self quarantining as much as possible. I still have to go to work, but I work in a small office 🙏🏻 4y

Okay, here we go. Thanks to @Meaw_catlady for the hashtag idea ❤️
Right now, I‘m relatively calm. I have to limit the amount of news I watch because I will legit go crazy. I‘m in Alabama, and yesterday was insane. Today the COVID cases have doubled. My kids won‘t go back to school until April 6.
But, right now, I‘m keeping it together.

KathyWheeler I‘m in Alabama too. It‘s been a crazy last couple of days for me. I have to go to work on Monday, but I don‘t know yet about anything after that. My university is moving all classes online and the rec center is closed, but apparently the library is still open — just not to patrons. 4y

CBee @KathyWheeler I know a lot of folks who work for various colleges around here - all moving to online instruction. I know one of our local libraries is closing but I‘m not sure about the one I use yet. Are you feeling better after being sick? Stay safe and healthy ❤️ 4y

MoonWitch94 I‘m in NJ, by Philadelphia. Food stores have no meat, no toilet paper, no paper towels or cleaning supplies, no frozen fruit or veggies and barely any dairy (like milk, sour cream, etc). I waited 45 minutes in the check out line. I have never seen or heard of anything like this. The hoarding of supplies is scary. This must be how people in war torn countries feel. 4y

KathyWheeler @CBee I‘m feeling a whole lot better! Thanks for asking. You stay safe and healthy too. We came to Orange Beach for my husband‘s birthday, partly because we‘re beach lovers and partly because we didn‘t think there would be many people here. Boy, were we wrong! It‘s crazy. 4y

Branwen I'm in Michigan and the total number of confirmed virus cases just recently hit 33, with 9 of them being in my county. 😖😷 I'm a children's librarian in a public library and we're going to be closed until April 6th. The anxiety is super high for me right now, but reading and talking with my litsy family is definitely helping! So grateful for you all and for this wonderful community! 💕📚 4y

MoonWitch94 @CBee Yes, I did get just about everything. I didn‘t realize how bad it was, and was just trying to do my weekly shopping. Thank goodness we always have toilet paper 🧻 in my house 😳. I think that that‘s the bright spot in this chaos: people are forced to get creative (like make recipes with what you have on hand) and make it work. It can be fun! 4y

Iamlisa22 No toilet paper here in Wisconsin! My youngest daughter (22) is a senior in NY at Fordham they have now called off face-face classes for the rest of the year and her commencement ceremony is still undecided. So STRESSED sums up my feelings. #Stayhealthy xx 4y

Cupcake12 We seem to bring the early stages over here in the UK...our elderly and vulnerable have been told to socially isolate themselves, daily essentials are scarce e.g pasta, beans, toilet paper, mass gatherings halted and our schools/businesses still open. We have no cases in Worcester. It maybe different this time next week as the virus takes hold. Stay safe everyone x❤️ (edited) 4y

CBee @Andrew65 I feel like they‘ll probably be out of school longer. They did just go ahead and tell everyone not to send kids back on Monday - originally it was Thursday. So it‘s three weeks now instead of 2.5. 🤷‍♀️ 4y

CBee @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks oh yep, I saw that earlier. So many folks in a crowded space which is exactly what they‘re saying NOT to do. The airports weren‘t prepared for it but they are being screened - but still crazy long waits and lines. 😳😞 4y
