I'm just getting started on #StoryGraph
I've read and reviewed 8 books this year, but only 3 were doing up. I had to go back into each review and update the date I finished them. I'm using my phone and maybe that's the problem. I just review a book and didn't see a way to update the date with out saving and returning to update. My advice is to check that all your reviews are getting graphed, if not, update the date. Follow me: same username 😊

This is one of the few #PersephoneBooks I have with the color cover instead of dove grey - on purpose.
I just love this cover.
And want to get to know these people.
So now it is time to finally read it for #PersephonePick with my #buddyread partners. We will post here as usual, but will be testing out the #StoryGraph buddyread feature.
We will report back on how it goes!

Mitch That‘s such a beautiful cover. 2w
Ruthiella I have that cover too. 😃 2w
LeahBergen I love this cover, too. I have several of the Persephone Classic editions, instead of the dove grey, just cuz they‘re so beautiful! 2w

Kimzey I‘ve see Litsy posts of Persephone books with grey covers. What‘s the story with the uniform book covers? Is it an option? The norm? Why? Just curious. 2w
elkeOriginal @Kimzey @LeahBergen can correct me but the dove grey covers are the more common covers for Persephone books. I just googled and it seems the publisher did this because she ‘likes grey‘. But more recently they began publishing their Classics line of bestsellers with color covers. They say these are more ‘bookshop-friendly‘ editions. And because these color versions do not have the full color endpapers or matching bookmark, they cost a few £s less. (edited) 2w
Kimzey @elkeOriginal Thanks, Good to know. I‘ll go to their website for more info. 2w
elkeOriginal @Kimzey For reference: they have more than 140 titles in the grey covers vs 14 of the color Classics. Grey is the standard by far! 2w
Andrea313 Yay, I'm so excited to see what you all think of Mariana! And curious about feedback on the Storygraph feature, too. ❤️ 2w

#NewReleaseTuesday is back and coming at you with some #nonfiction #audiobooks!

As you can see from my #storygraph chart, I have only read one NF book this year. 😱 Shocking, I know.

To remedy this, my library has three new releases this week. I‘ve started with the tagged, and I‘m enjoying it so far. Neuroscience is hit or miss with me, so we‘ll see.

I‘ll tag the other two ⬇️ Happy Tuesday!! 😁📚🎧

tokorowilliamwallace What, a new Mlodinow?! Let's connect on Storygraph (magicschooltokoro). 2w

AkashaVampie Hey sweetie.. since u use StoryGraph and if u wanna do more reading/challenges, check out my #StoryGraphRecs challenge. Super easy... just read books that are recommended to u through StoryGraph. Everyone is welcome to join in. 2w
Megabooks @tokorowilliamwallace 👍🏻👍🏻 I‘m megabooks on there as well. I don‘t do the social aspects though, but I‘d love to connect to see each other‘s current reads, etc. 2w
Megabooks @AkashaVampie thanks! I‘ll check it out, but I don‘t use the storygraph for recommendations. (edited) 2w
Megabooks @Cinfhen what do you think of this week‘s choices? 2w
Cinfhen I‘m sooo hyper-focused on the new Yanagihara. I can‘t even think about other books. These 3 seems a bit dry on first look. I‘ll be waiting to see your reviews. Glad you‘re enjoying 😊😘 2w
Megabooks I just purchased the Yanagihara and two more “wetter” books. Tagging you. 😘😘 2w
youneverarrived Tagged book sounds interesting! Look forward to seeing what you think of it 2w
Megabooks @youneverarrived I‘ll tag you in my review 👍🏻 2w

I love the stats Storygraph puts out. My book moods were all over the place, but it's no surprise that light-hearted is one of the bigger percentages of my reading.

My original plan was to share my book bullet journal at the end of the year, but it turned out kind of ugly AND it's hard to share that one post at a time.

I'm a few days behind on posting this-- here is the 2022 LGBTQ book bingo! This is a year-long, low-pressure book bingo. The main requirement for each prompt is that the book should be by an LGBTQ+ author, or about LGBTQ+ characters or topics. If you played last year, you'll notice a few repeat prompts! Have fun and don't forget to tag me so I can follow along!

My year in review: goals met! Some interesting trends in rate of reading throughout the year (summer months look like my highest reading months) and a neat breakdown of genres, format, and fiction vs nonfiction… def need to ramp up on nonfiction on the new year!
Will also pay attention to format on #storygraph going forward cause I know that audio % is way too low 😂 #2021stats #readingstats #thestorygraph
(Booked tagged is last finished of year)

elkeOriginal I have been cleaning my formats in StoryGraph. These graphs help see what is wonky and needs attention. I love it! 3w

My 2021 stats. Very cool that #Storygraph features these. I had a good year, the stars are as expected. My preference has been shifting from classic to contemporary literature during the past years But I‘ll guess it‘ll keep changing and it‘s fun to keep track.

TrishB Looks cool like that 👍🏻 4w
Megabooks Reflective and emotional we‘re my top two as well! 3w
BarbaraBB @Megabooks That doesn‘t surprise me at all ❤️ 3w

TheatreSpaz I'm so glad you posted this, I've been trying to get away from goodreads and this was the perfect incentive to try something else! I just downloaded Storygraph and am importing my library now. 3w
BarbaraBB @TheatreSpaz I am glad to be of help. It really is an app with cool features and it is great for keeping track of your reading and possible reading challenges. I don‘t use GoodReads much anymore. 3w
keithmalek I never heard of this, and would love to do it. Thanks for posting. 3w
keithmalek @BarbaraBB I would only use it for the graphs, but I'm looking at it and can't figure out how to make one. Does it just do it for you automatically? 3w
BarbaraBB @keithmalek Yes it does. When you finding and ‘review‘ a nooit collects your data and the general data of the book. When you click on your name in the menu you can view the option ‘Stats‘. 3w
BkClubCare Ok, I might finally get to this app 😂 3w
thebluestocking I might have to try out Storygraph! And I love tracking my reading for just the reason you mentioned - things change over time. 💙 3w
BarbaraBB @BkClubCare @thebluestocking It‘s a very nice and easy app. Nothing too fancy, it‘s not about interacting with others in my opinion but it‘s great for tracking your reads. 3w
BkClubCare @BarbaraBB - quick question… is it more of a computer site or to be used as a smartphone app? (Cuz I can‘t get it to find my books I am reading in the app. Wondering if it is overloaded this Jan 1) 3w
BkClubCare And feel free to tell me to do my own research 🤪🤣 3w
BkClubCare @thebluestocking - we can learn it together! 3w
BarbaraBB @BkClubCare I mostly use it as an app but the desktop / website works well too. I did have a problem accessing today too though so I think you might be right about the overloading! 3w
MelAnn I am loving Storygraph .. I‘m on there as LifeSouvenirs… how do I find you there? 2w
BarbaraBB I am barbarabarbara over there. Just started following you there! 2w
