dabbeI do think a feminist “blooming“ of an idea is shown in THE TENANT OF WILDFELL HALL. Helen does leave her husband (unheard of then)--even though she goes back to nurture him when he's dying. In Agnes, we get to witness her passions because she's telling us the story, but she hasn't exerted herself outwardly yet.
