JenlovesJT47 I don‘t remember if it was Salem but that‘s crazy! Every time I read up/watch anything about the witch trials it seems like a made up story. I just can‘t believe people are that cruel and ignorant. 6mo

JenlovesJT47 @AnnCrystal I haven‘t seen it but I‘ll add it to my list! Have you read the Practical Magic series? One of the books is set during the witch trials and it is so good. Actually they‘re all great imo! 6mo

julieclair Oh my goodness, this is so atmospheric! I remember visiting Salem when I was about 9 or 10 years old. They re-enacted a witch trial and hung the witch at the end. It made quite an impact on my young self. Even then, I felt the supreme injustice of it. 6mo
dabbe @julieclair TY! I would have loved to have seen that! I have always been fascinated by the witch trials--way back to when I was about the same age! No wonder I love Halloween. But, you're absolutely right--the absolute horrendous injustice of it all. 6mo
