GingerAntics Love this adaptation SO much!!! 5y
Tamra @annamatopoetry I can see why! 5y
Tamra @BiblioLitten I don‘t know that I even finished the book because it‘s not a genre I typically enjoy. But the visuals and acting in the series is outstanding! 5y
Tamra @GingerAntics definitely agree! 5y
BiblioLitten @Tamra I read the book because of the series and I couldn‘t imagine anyone else as Crowley and Aziraphale 5y

Pickpick

love a good sweeping family drama ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but is anyone else getting tired of cassandra cambell narrating all the popular lit fiction lately? #thereisaidit

BookNAround I just reviewed this one today (and will eventually get around to posting it on here) but I quite enjoyed it too. 6y

I wouldn't want to be miles near a person who says such things, but I don't judge books by the author.
It does change my perception but not my reading preferences. #thereisaidit

P.S: My baby is responsible for the crushed paper. He might have sensed that the words were trash.😁

CouronneDhiver Wow - those quotes are brutal. 6y
BiblioLitten @CouronneDhiver I know! Absolute crap 😡 6y
MommyWantsToReadHerBook I actually agree with three of those quotes... But good grief, the others! 6y

olivia.ferz I'm speechless. 😡 6y
BiblioLitten @olivia.ferz leave that, are you safe!?! In Kochi? 6y
olivia.ferz @BiblioLitten Yes I am. Thanks for asking😊 6y
olivia.ferz @BiblioLitten Kochi area hasn't been completely flooded YET. Though there is news that the level of water in the backwaters has been rising. It has been raining quite heavily with little break since Tuesday. So we packed all our emergency stuff in backpacks to go to relief camps in case it starts flooding here too. 6y
olivia.ferz @BiblioLitten Schools, colleges, large auditoriums and parish halls have all turned into relief camps. Though entire Kerala has been issued red alert, the major floods are in Aluva, Idukki, Alapuzha etc where roads and bridges have been broken because of the floods. 😥 6y
BiblioLitten @olivia.ferz It's a tough time. I hope it passed soon. I got your postcard😊 but can't find your address in the jb group list. I'll fish it out, no problem. 6y
BiblioLitten @olivia.ferz *passes. 6y
olivia.ferz @BiblioLitten 😊 I hope it passes too! I've sent a email to you with my address in case you need it. 6y
BiblioLitten @olivia.ferz oh that's great! Thanks 😊 6y
batsy I agree! I can't respect him as a person but even when people write out of hate it's interesting how their novels can still be illuminating, in a strange way. I've only read The Mimic Men but it was quite psychologically astute about the ramifications of colonialism. 6y
BiblioLitten @batsy I haven't read The Mimic Men. Only the Mystic Masseur, which was humorous but I didn't make me want to read his other works. I'm curious about 6y
batsy I'm interested in that one, too. It seems to be the agreed upon masterpiece of his and I'm curious to see how it stands up. 6y
RaimeyGallant I have a bad taste in my mouth. 6y

Bookish Quirks 007
I have to read all the pages in a book...blurb, acknowledgments, dedication, ⬆ page...🙄
If there is an introduction, I read that in the end, after I finish the book. #thereisaidit #bookishquirks 😀

GlassAsDiamonds Ahh but some jewels on these pages!!!! 😉😉😉 6y
BiblioLitten @GlassAsDiamonds absolutely!😀 6y

GlassAsDiamonds @BiblioLitten sorry for the delay, I had issues with notifications!!! 😭😭😭 Funniest have been some old Clive Cussler thrillers when the characters literally sit around waiting for someone to find an atlas to figure out where they‘re going.... late 70‘s publication date I think for that one! 😂😂😂 (edited) 6y

The Perks of Being a Wallflower | Bestsellers - Books USA Press

I'm probably going to earn brickbats for this but is there a movie you like better than the book?
I didn't believe such a thing existed until I saw 'The Perks Of Being A Wallflower'. I don't know if it was Emma Watson or how the story was depicted, but the movie was slightly better than the book.
#thereisaidit

StephanieGeiser Wild was the first movie I saw that I liked better than the book. That never happens to me but I found the author annoying in the book and most of that was cut out of the movie! 😂😂😂 7y
BiblioLitten @StephanieGeiser Wild was a good movie. I saw it before I read the book. ☺ 7y
