I could quote something on every page. This book is my jam! Let me set the connection, the coinky-dink: I‘ve just started A View of the Harbour by Elizabeth Taylor and a character is 20 yo, right after WWII, sitting in an upstairs room looking out the window at the town streets and then this book has this quote:
“Young Christine… Climbs up to the attic room where she has done so much reading and looks out the window.”

I remember when LuLaRoe was HUGE amongst moms where I live. I always thought the leggings were ugggly, and I abhor MLMs. But I couldn‘t resist watching this documentary this week.

#TIL the company pressured some of their top sellers to fly to Tijuana for weight loss surgery, and convinced families to go all in, leaving stable day jobs so they became fully reliant on LuLaRoe income. This #BossBabe company was TOXIC. #NFN21

#nfn21 Started this audiobook while on a road trip for a work workshop. #TIL that Patrick Swayze was a professional ballet dancer. He had just gained the position of principal dancer for a tour and would be doing shows with Mikhail Baryshnikov when he stopped. A knee injury from high-school was just too much to deal with on a daily basis.

An eye-opening story about a twelve-year-old Suquamish/ duwamish girl who learns about friendship, family secrets and Native American identity. Biographical fiction at its best, this was based on the author's family. #TIL Today I learned about the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978. #MgbuddyRead @megnews

Day 4: #nfn21 Today's podcast was about primatology, the study of primates. There was quite a bit on this subject that I did know given my field, but plenty that I didn't. #TIL that chimps will fight it all out and then be friends a few hours later. They will often use a sort of trust exercise like putting their hand into the others mouth, sort of saying 'are we good now?' Then they will start grooming each other.

Today Explained talked about the Sudan Coop. So.i didn't know that was happening.

Adaption.Nation talked about Dune, the Book, the Movie and the new Movie out now.

Forgot to post yesterday for #nfn21. My coworker recommended this podcast to me and I finally started it yesterday. Most of my podcast posts will be from this series. The first episode was about volcanology. #TIL that volcanos can breathe and that the last eruption of Mt. St. Helen's was triggered by a landslide. 10 pts.
