My Sunday mornings are meant for poetry and Atticus's newest book of poetry is beautiful. I'm a fan already, but this book is simply magical. Simple, heartfelt, touching, hopeful, and lovely. I love them all!

Meet Me in Monaco | Hazel Gaynor

A beautiful fictionalized account of Grace Kelly's wedding set in the stunning locations of Cannes and Monaco. The rich scent of perfume held the storyline. A story of unlikely friends, love that spanned decades, and perseverance. Loved it from beginning till the end!

A great read! The cover hooked me in, but since it has a library and librarian as elements to the story, I had to read it! It is touching and gives faith to doing good for the sake of others, even if we all have secrets. I enjoyed it.

An okay read. A story of a normal family with normal problems, struggling to stay somewhat sane. The best part is it is by an Alberta author and set in Calgary.

I really wanted to like this story more. It was a quick read for me and even though I could empathize with the characters and the fact that a library played a role in it, I found myself not caring as much about family drama, mystery and secrets as I should. No family is perfect, everyone has a story, and sometimes secrets can turn our world upside down.

Love, love, love! The story of 96 year old Doris as she reflects on her life by sharing stories of all the people she met through her life. Beautiful and touching, emotional and witty, it is the testament of love standing the test of time and battling the odds. Read it! Its wonderful.

Set in rural Saskatchewan, this is the story of four residents who are now living in a seniors' complex. The friends share laughs, worries, drinks, and develop relationships that give them comfort. In amongst it all is the newest resident, about whom they have read about, who tests their acceptance and causes them worry. Its a tale of mystery but sheds light on the vulnerability, grief, and joys of becoming older.

Book number 10 in the ongoing series of Flavia and her mystery solving abilities. A great read. I wish I was like this little girl. Her spunk makes the story move along at a great pace.

One of those rare book sale finds that I'm glad I found! What happens when a successful, wealthy, middle-aged banker discovers his wife possesses a supply of birth control pills even though they have been platonic for fifteen years? Why, naturally, he switches the pills for aspirin tablets and waits to see what happens next. What happens is his wife, sister-in-law, niece, mistress, and maid all become pregant!

A throughly fun read just in time for Valentine's Day. A book where love and hate are two sides of the same coin, where romance and panic find a place, and where games are played. Pick it up. Debut book by author is a good choice for a rom-com daliance.

Book number 13 by Louise Penny does not disappoint! The characters have become friends of mine and I enjoy being welcomed back to the community of Three Pines. Mystery and intrigue, and enough suspense to keep me guessing right till the end. Read it!

A wonderful read that can be picked up and put down and enjoyed time and time again. I am not usually a big fan of short stories, but I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan, so this one counts!

A great read for fans of Deborah Harkness's previous trilogy. It has been awhile since I read the All Souls Trilogy and wish I would have read a refresher to remind me of the characters, but it didn't take long to get reacquainted.

OMG! I really enjoyed this title! It sucked me in from the beginning and I could not put it down! I'd recommend this fast read title for something different. I thought it was well written, moved along at a suitable pace, was intriguing, and left me searching for when the next in the series come out, but considering this one was just released April 3, I'm going to be waiting a bit.

I enjoyed this title more than I thought I would, even though I'm a huge fan of the show. Genuine and honest. The kind of book that is inspiring without being preachy.

My small collection of reading buttons. Probably each is less than an inch wide, so they aren't obtrusive, but great for garnering conversation. :)

I do not usually give up, and maybe I'm getting old to appreciate Sophie Kinsella's latest, but I could just not get into it at all. Sadly, I didn't even find it funny, but whiny. I wished I could have liked it more.
