Finished Good Omens yet again. Probably the 10th time I‘ve read this.
How do people get all of these ARCs???
This book is absolutely hilarious. Even if you only have a brief exposure to heavy metal it‘s well worth a read. It‘s even recommended by Neil Gaiman!
I generally adore anything Michael Connelly puts out but I have to say this is his weakest book. The story is rather formulaic and it‘s very easy to see how it will end.
Last book of the year. Missed my goal of 200 by 6 books...
Love this description of Jack Reacher
Interesting that I should be reading through this today - NY Times reports “Whitey Bulger, Notorious Boston Mobster and Informant, Is Dead at 89”
Hans and I will be rereading this tonight
Coraline is a book that‘s near and dear to my heart. It was the first Neil Gaiman book I read to my daughter. We read a chapter a night until we were done. So now anything Coraline related is a must have for me.
Follow up collection, will there be a third?
Any reader who professes to love the short story form must read this book. There are hits and misses but every story jumps off the page with vigor and kicks you in the seat of the pants.
Day 19 - Setting you‘ve been to
Spent many summer day trips in Brighton, although not quite the Brighton in Robert Rankin‘s works

I read the original Sandman and related works 20 years ago and being able to revisit these characters and worlds in new stories is (so far) both nostalgic and new.
I‘m also planning to read all new 7 books that Vertigo Comics are putting out to revamp their lineup.
I was expecting a book about the OCCK murders and the hunt for the killer. Instead a got a book about the authors life and his own personal demons. It wasn‘t uninteresting but absolutely not what I wanted to read.
