The moral that can be learned from this story is that everyone has special talents in their own way.

I enjoyed reading this story because the fifth mouse is understood but he is valuable in a different way than the other mice. I think students would be able to relate to this story, this would be a great way for students to point out their strengths.

pickMy best friend sent me this book because she finds it "inspiring during these thin times." ? It's a lovely story about needing to gather more than just food to survive the winter. But it also reminds us about how the seasons are a cycle. I think it's a perfect & hopeful story for the pandemic. ❤

1. Tagged book, I don‘t know why this book stands out so much in my memory. I don‘t know what happened to the book I had when I was little which was my moms when she was younger but I bought a copy after my oldest was born.
