Started this book last night. A book about mages? Yes, please!
I‘m on chapter 11 and almost done. Decided to do the audio version of this since it‘s so short (under 2 hours). It‘s actually better than I anticipated and some of the stuff is, oddly enough, good advice for managers. I like the stories interspersed with the warfare points, but man! I‘d hate to be a soldier who disobeyed back in the day. It was immediate execution!
Just started this audiobook yesterday and so far it‘s interesting enough to keep going but feels a little repetitive.

This book is excellent so far. When I described it to a co-worker she said it sounds like a cross between #HandmaidsTale and #Fahrenheit451. I might even add in #1984. That at least gives you and idea of the flavor to expect from this book. Imagine living in a world where females are only allowed to speak 100 words a day. If they exceed that, they are shocked. Each word over 100 gives them progressively stronger shocks... #netgalley #arc
