Awesome read..so much happening behind the scenes..a second read is a must

Ok..I can not say how much this was a fantastic read. The mystery..thriller on so many levels. Hats off to the Coast Guard..we owe them so much

Excellent story..unbelievable ending

This was like a locomotive..slowly gaining speed. Before long your are hanging into every word. Bravo what a great book!

Although quite a departure from Kay Scarpetta,this new character had some promise. At times the story seemed a bit weak and not the usual work that I expect from Ms. Cornwell. It was an enjoyable read. I look forward to seeing how she developes this character.

This was the third book in the trilogy. It was enjoyable but at times seemed a bit of off. The ending was unexpected for sure.

Although I loved the first book in this trilogy, this one did not disappoint. I have not read much sci-fi in years but was intrigued. So many twists and turns it satisfied the who dunit in me. A bit far fetched but honesty any book can gave that aspect.. Now onto the the third book.

I'm actually reading the Highland Murders by this Author. Although I am enjoying the book I do have a pet peeve. If the police woman looses her fun and badge to the killer in the last chapter..she does not miraclesly have it back in the next one when she escapes get watery grave. Just saying

This book was a complete surprise. At first I thought it would be a dud but soon I was so caught up with the characters that I did not want it to end. It's a trilogy... So it continues

I've spent the last several months reading this whole series. It will be awhile before the next installment. I'm missing the characters already. Such a great read..now what do I read?

I've gotten so caught up and attached to these characters..they are like family. The last 100 pages had so many twist and turns I thought I was on a roller coaster. What a Ride!

A minute and a glass of Wine..no just a book. Full I finished this one
oh my can she get wordy..Even the lamo shades get a paragraph description. If be thinking come on get back to the story now. Too many words but on the top 5 for this year. Enjoy

A little slow to start but it didn't take long to be totally entranced. It reminds me of Beauty and the Beast. Beautifully written.

This was an audible book..great way to do dishes..very enjoyable

Update : Had to bail...having spent a bit of time with this author at dinner when her first books came out.
I have followed this career of this intelligent, warm heated, charming woman ever since. But this work..she could have phoned it in. She was distracted about something else is all I can say.

Some new ideas and lots of old ideas presented in New way.
I've been training a long time (20) years but I'm alway open to new ideas...it old ones reshuffled.

Not a book that your only read once.

It feels like this is written in a Different language. It seems so slow going. Anyone else have the same reaction? I'm not a dumb person actually quite bright but I'm finding this one a bit hard to understand

This new author knows how to spin a story. You become another member on this treasure hunt. As secrets are revealed.. You are in awe. I can not wait for more books of hers to come. This is a Must Read!

I usually do not read political books but I was curious. It was interesting in the beginning but had to give up. It became depressing. Even if only half of this is true,we are being governed by children. Throwing tantrums and should be sent for a long time out.

Best read of the year..
Slow to start..Good vs Evil.but you are never sure who is on which side.
Kept me guessing till the end. But just a children's book!

This book was enjoyable but it left or alot of explaining of why the acts were done..
2 murders and not a clue why. Huh

I just could not continue this book. So disappointed..just not my style.

Easy read with masterful twist in the end. Just wish I had found the cookbook!
