This story was set during the summer but with those fall vibes of haunted place. Brynn was in a grief process and was invited by a friend to spend the summer in Wharton. But there were rumors that the place she decided to stay, is haunted. As a expected Brynn started to feel, see and hear things which seem to be connected with her present and probably other lives.
What I like about this author is that her stories are so atmospheric ⬇️
Apparently this is a second book of Daughter of the Lake but it didn‘t bothers me. I think this author has this distinctive way to write similar to Darcy Coates, in that slow pace, atmospheric stories, well, at least similar to me.
