I am a fourth of the way through my reading goal! I still have a lot to go. 😂🤦🏼♀️

This book was good, but the audio version was fantastic! The narrator perfectly portrayed how I thought Sloan would sound like. The book was interesting and took a path I was not really expecting. There was some family drama that I thought was unimportant and kind of weird, but it was relatively short. I enjoyed the look at diving and how the author incorporated it into the story.
This was a book that was not quite what I expected but I truly loved. The pace was not quite thriller but it felt a little faster than mystery. The reveals into Malcolm‘s life and truth were very interesting. I enjoyed seeing other bibliophiles and all the discussion about books.
I love Jerry Spinelli‘s ability to put extraordinary characters in an ordinary world and show the reader what will happen. Stargirl is such a unique and fun character, and she gave me courage to be truly myself. I loved the philosophical chats with Archie and how well they described Stargirl. It was a fun fast read that will stick with me for a while.
I enjoyed this book; I love mythology and was excited to see how she would incorporate that with the modern world. It shed some interesting light on the terribleness of reality tv. With that, I will say that I didn‘t appreciate all the talk of sex and what they tried to make Ariadne into. To be fair, there was nothing graphic. Ithink the relationship between Theseus and Adriadne was sweet. I really enjoyed how everything fell together in the end.
I just finished this book and enjoyed it. Has anyone else read it because I need to talk spoilers! I am very shocked and a little confused about the ending.
I am halfway through!! I got 2 inter library loans and I thought this would be the slower of the 2, I was wrong. I am hoping to finish this weekend!!
I did not see the ending coming! This was a fast interesting read. I really like how the author tied everything together. Also I hated that house, which made what happened easier. Thanks @jenniferajanes for recommending it!
This was a really good book. Jules, well she had some major issues. I loved the way the book went backwards, and it wasn‘t hard to follow. The last chapter gave a small twist that has had me thinking since I finished it! When you become like someone else, when do you lose yourself?
I can‘t believe I almost quit this book! It was so good, so much happens, but it‘s all little stuff. I loved that Eleanor grew and healed. She even found a friend! I was so sad to see this book end, I almost cried when my kindle flipped to the acknowledgements. So glad @jenniferajanes rated this a 5 star otherwise I wouldn‘t have finished it. Plus I have a question for all those who have read the book in the comments, since it‘s kind of a spoiler
This was so good!! I loved all the twists and turns. The build up in the beginning was definitely met in the end. I liked this one better than The Silent Patient. Will definitely be checking out some more of Riley Sager‘s books!
Wow!! The twist at the end was amazing!! The story throughout was intriguing. This is one of my first thrillers and it was really good. Looking forward to reading more thrillers in the future.
I was not impressed. I was expecting a twisty thriller and this was not it. Honestly, the sad thing is my favorite part was Violet‘s big story. I did not care for the references to sex or the language. I am disappointed I wasted my time on this. I think it does reveal that we all will do terrible things to succeed. @jenniferajanes I would not recommend reading it. There are much better books out there.
I loved this book! It had a little bit of everything; romance, mystery, and character development. I really enjoyed watching Josie grow and see the decisions that shape her. There were some really sad parts, but the ending was perfect! I loved what she changed her last name to! (Pay attention to some of the characters last names😉)
Almost a hundred pages in and not really loving it. So onto the next book! Although I have to say, I love this book cover.
I got this mug for completing a summer reading challenge at my library and I love it!! Happy Saturday!
Thank you @kellyann28 for the chance to win Lock Every Door! To Best the Boys is probably the first book that has made me realize the importance of world building. The sweet ending still has me grinning. ☺️
A good book, but unfortunately the sex and language kept me from rating it 4⭐️. The mystery throughout the book was really interesting, but honestly they focused a lot on character development of Eric. I think the way the book handled his schizophrenia was good. Some of his visions are very disturbing. The hundredish pages were nerve wracking. Overall, a good read, but I definitely am not going to be seeking out the second book.
I really enjoyed the way this book was written. I loved the fact that it had a decent amount of words that I was not familiar with so I could expand my vocabulary. The council‘s rules and reasoning about the sign was absolutely ludicrous, yet scary. I loved that the people fought back for their beloved home. 3/5 ⭐️
This was a fun, summer read. I enjoyed a new take on mythology. I loved that there was always something going on. The character development was fun to see and I am excited to see how these characters will grow during the series.
This was an awesome book! The end had a lot of unexpected twists and I stayed up past my bedtime to finish it.🤫 The book handles the difficult topics extremely well. I really wish we had gotten this as our FirstReads book.
This book was really good! I liked this book better than, The Hate U Give. I felt more connected to Bri and I liked the romance aspect.
I read this book for my time travel category for 52 books in 52 weeks. At first I didn‘t like Rebecca that much. The story went on and she learned what was truly important in life. It was a heartwarming story and I am super glad I read it!

A great book, but not what I thought it was going to be. I thought (of course by the title) it was about the lie tree. It was actually more about Faith and the prejudices against female scientists. It was a character driven book, and I enjoyed it. I just felt like I was cheated just a bit. (Also a pet peeve is that the fruit in the book is nothing like the cover. Maybe that doesn‘t bother most people but it bothers me.)
It was a good story, but I was very disappointed with Audrey‘s actions in the second part. The end was decent though. It took me 3 hours and 30 minutes to read. A good start to #24b4Monday
This was a great read. I really enjoyed listening to it on audio, plus there was a recorded interview with Ted Dekker!! I constantly picked up the book when I had a few free minutes. I was really surprised by the twist at the end and it kind of put some of the book into perspective. In a way, I felt sorry for Boneman, yet what he did was wrong. Dekker‘s story telling is creepy yet enthralling! Looking forward to reading more of his books.
It was so good! This is my first Sherlock Holmes book, so it‘s really exciting . I was nervous I wouldn‘t like the book as much as the tv series. It was very different from the show but there were definitely references in the show. I was really confused when the second part started, but I stuck through it and it all worked out in the end.
I wanted to quit about 40 pages in, but @jenniferajanes for encouraging me to continue. Wow I am so glad I did! The book was amazing, although I was expecting a regular murder mystery, there was so much more to it! Glad I stuck with it! 4/5⭐️
Dance With Me by Staci Stallings. This was a good book, but it was a little long for a romance novel. I really enjoyed Josh and Kaci‘s relationship. There was a lot of character development, although some of the stuff was a tad drawn out. I really enjoyed Mr. Wallace‘s words of wisdom. 3/5⭐️
1. This book was amazing!! It left me with a very bad case of book hangover. Thank goodness for reading challenges so I can keep reading! 2. I am really ready for @jenniferajanes to read this book so we can discuss it. Also looking forward to MMD book club discussion. 3. I prefer waffles over pancakes, but I eat them gluten-free and they are mostly a special treat. P.S. I was super obsessed with this book and rushed through my work so I could read
Only $2!! I have heard good things about Losing Brave and have wanted to read Get Lost since I read a sample.
This book (Murder Offstage by L.B. Hathaway) was really good. The writing style flowed smoothly and made really easy reading. I liked the touch of romance. Honestly, halfway through I thought it was all figured out and we just had to execute the plan, which was really disappointing. Man, was I wrong! There were so many little plot twists at the end! While this is technically a series, it can be read as a stand alone. Rest in comments
This was a really good reread. I loved Reepicheep already, but now I love him even more. I love Aslan and how he frees his people. Basically everything in this book is amazing. I now want to rewatch the movie. Maybe soon!
“Tell me the truth.” A phrase repeated through the book, that was eventually answered. But the truth was so much stranger than the rumors. The end took me by surprise, but I was really ready to be done with it a few hours from finishing. I had no particular affinity for any of the characters, which always makes the book more enjoyable for me. 3/5⭐️
This book is creepy, but in such a subtle way. I really enjoyed the main character‘s stance on women‘s rights and how smart she was. Every woman being the same was really creepy. I wish I had not read the literary analysis (which looked like a little introduction) before I read the book. I think that would have made the reading more enjoyable.
This ending made me mad. So mad that I deleted the book as soon as I could because it was defiling my kindle. The best part about this book is that it captures the awkwardness of teen romance. I did not appreciate the ending or more intimate scenes. I am also dissatisfied with how we never found out if her family was okay. Also her stepdad was abusive and a total jerk. The ending was just anticlimactic for me. #unpopularopinion
Simone Biles is amazing! She made hard decisions to achieve her dream, but I think it was worth it in the end. I loved all the great quotes at the beginning of each chapter. My favorite thing is that it shows how she stayed true to herself even through losses and wins. I respect her so much more now! Side note: I have finally overcome my fear that nonfiction is not good!!
This book reminded me of a Twilight Zone episode. The weirdness of the story made it rather enjoyable. I think it shows us that the things we think are really important, mean nothing. We get so dedicated to one thing we don‘t see the absurdity of it. The things we invest time in will mean the most to us.
This was one of the best Agatha Christie books I have read in a while. I thought I had figured it out, for it seemed like a simple mystery. But then plot twist! I really liked the little touch of romance that went along with the story. I also enjoyed the relationship between Poirot and Katherine.
Really good! I loved Watney‘s sense of humor. I wanted to finish my work so bad so I could sit down and read some more. The only thing I was disappointed about was the ending. Will tell in a comment because it‘s kind of a spoiler!
This book was not my favorite. There were really good parts, but the rest wasn‘t that great. I also didn‘t love Circe. I like strong heroines, and Circe just was not that for me. #unpopularopinion I was going to rate this 2 stars, but the ending bumped it up to 3. I am glad I read it, but this is really not my thing.
Amazing re-read! I am enjoying re-reading this series because all the little details I missed make the story so much better! #hpbuddyread What is your favorite Harry Potter book?
So excited to be starting this book! Lupin is my favorite Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Who is your favorite DADA teacher? #hpbuddyread
This book was really good. There were some major plot twists I wasn‘t expecting. I think I enjoyed this book more than One of Us Is Lying, because I connected with the characters more. For some reason, I really enjoyed the small town feel of this book. Now on to my next #hpbuddyread
Wow! This book was not something I thought I would enjoy, but I did in the end. This man is absolutely brilliant. It‘s amazing he got away with as much as he did! I chose this as my true crime book for my 2019 reading challenge. Thanks @jenniferajanes for helping me pick this book!
