pickFinished this book while I was at work and it almost had me in tears at the end. Just by reading the blurb I wasn‘t sure I would like the book but once I started reading I was sucked in! I‘m really glad I got this in my Once Upon A Book Club box, otherwise I probably wouldn‘t have read it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟!

This one was just kind of meh. Cute story, and I really liked the character Evie, but the other characters fell kind of flat for me and I don‘t feel like I had as much of an emotional connection as I was supposed to. Good one for music lovers, as there is a sort of playlist in the end pages.

pickThis was one of those books that showed the different types of love. It did center around Avie, but also he‘s love for Diana. Her lost love song and how it traversed the world to bring back some kind of love to all these other characters was very smooth. Not always gentle, but so real. I was not prepared for the beginning of the story, but it came around the more of the songs mystery came around.

pickThe Lost Love Song is a fantastic romance above love and loss. There are so many facets of this book that I won‘t say much because I‘m afraid of ruining something.
I highly recommend The Lost Love Song for fans of Jojo Moyes, Josie Silver, and Jill Santopolo.

pickThe cover is a bit misleading as the story is not all happy and light...but I loved it. It‘s fiction, so if you can look at far-fetched instances as “fate”, luck, coincidence, serendipity or a God-thing, underneath it all are multiple stories of how (as Forrest would put it), “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you‘re gonna get.” And it all centers on a lost love song and how it touches characters during different ⬇️
pickThis is an intricate story about unconnected characters, coming together through song. It follows the song's journey through Evie and Arie. The others are what made this book murky. I understood, but had a hard time keeping some of the chapters straight. I liked the emphasis on the power of song. Finding a great song is a remarkable feeling. Music lovers, and those drawn to stories about second chance love, might want to give this one a spin.
I finished my last ARC and wrote a review, but Goodreads is being glitchy and won‘t let me share it. I have no patience for this right now as I‘m going on day four with no power due to the tropical storm that hit our area. Needless to say the review is forthcoming, it‘s just so in line with the rest of 2020 that it isn‘t working right now. Long story short, this ARC is up next!
pickThis is such a lovely story of hope when all seems lost. The individual stories are interwoven and laced together by the song which touches hearts wherever it finds itself. Each character has a story to tell which ultimately join together in the final pages. It is a touching tribute to the love that blossoms with the help of an enchanting song.
I should finish the housework...but it‘s the first day of my holiday so I have chosen to ignore the dust for a while.
