This cover always scared me away for some reason. This was the right amount of off kilter and funny. I really loved it.

I finished this one in a day. Pretty good. I read it quickly bc I wanted to know what was going on.

Just finished this one before bed. Loved it!! Can't say too much but it is a lot of fun.

Looking forward to possibly lightening things up with this one.

I haven't heard too many people talking about this book. TBH I'm not sure how I first heard about it. But is really good. It's funny. I can maybe say more when it's over. I do not know where it is going.

Next up. The last book fucked me up, I was not emotionally ready for the last 200 pages.

Loooooooved this one. I do love a traditional thriller/mystery with no psychological element. This was great. Vega did grate on me at first but I grew with her in the end.

It started out so good but 3/4 in Anna really started to annoy me. So naive for a grown woman. And there were characters who just show up for no compelling reason (looking at you Ken).

I don't know what I keep reading books like this: slow, tedious, attempts to be vague and mysterious, always alluding to secrets, and then the last 1/4 is good. 🙄 but A+ for that setting!

I was able to finish this book while I waited at the Highway Patrol Inspection place today. Almost 2 hours. I started this book in 2020 and bailed for some reason. But I liked it!

Well, I liked this one more than the others I've read by TJR. First half was better for me. But fun and fairly light.

Bought this one yesterday, after a hell of a work week. I did my nails, the first time with the at home nails. They are a bit long but I like them.

Loved loved loved this one. She lays out the pieces and then slowly clicks them into place.

I've had this book on my Nook since the day it came out last year. Just finished it today. I liked it quite a bit. Sort of retro redeemed himself after Survive the night. One thing that does slightly bug me is women characters. They are just a little off sometimes. Not a complete fool writing women but could use just some slight corrections

New books! My male friend (?) and I browsed the bookstore last night. We "browsed" and ended up buying four books. I got three and he got one (like an amateur?)

I just didn't like this one. I was annoyed and frustrated through the entire book. By far my least favorite of his. It all felt so tedious and moved slow.

I'm having a little bit of trouble with this one. I think bc Charlie is annoying and makes the dumbest decisions.
Also for a movie expert she seems to only know the super famous ones: 🙄

Next up! I love spy novels, especially historical ones.
