This cover always scared me away for some reason. This was the right amount of off kilter and funny. I really loved it.

I finished this one in a day. Pretty good. I read it quickly bc I wanted to know what was going on.
Just finished this one before bed. Loved it!! Can't say too much but it is a lot of fun.
I haven't heard too many people talking about this book. TBH I'm not sure how I first heard about it. But is really good. It's funny. I can maybe say more when it's over. I do not know where it is going.
Next up. The last book fucked me up, I was not emotionally ready for the last 200 pages.
I don't know ya'll. There was a lot of hype last year. I finally got around to it and it wasn't for me. It was too long or the plot was too slow, I'm not sure which.
Giving this one a try. I hate the cover btw. But I read the word "epic" in the description and was all in.
Loooooooved this one. I do love a traditional thriller/mystery with no psychological element. This was great. Vega did grate on me at first but I grew with her in the end.
A big MEH for me. Started out so good and then wrapped up a bit to neatly for me. The reveal was a letdown to me 🤷🏽♀️
Took me so long to get into this one. It was so freakin complicated. I am glad I stuck with bc it got very good in the last third.
I am closing on my first ever house on Friday. I told myself - do not buy anything more that will just have to be packed up and moved. Yet here I am. . .
Thrilled this one is out. I'm very excited to read this one.
It was fine. I saw it coming and I NEVER figure out plots before the end. There was a lot of hype for this one and I think it's bc "serious" writers like books about writers. Instead of a pic of the book (it was an e-book from the library) here is a pic of the wounded kitten we found. She is a million times better!
As cute as to be expected. A nice Rom- com that was a perfect palate cleanser.
Thing I hate so much in women's fiction: Best friends who talk shit about each other or act annoyed with their alleged best friend.
I love Jamie Fox, love love him, ever since his In living color days. This book is funny but I want more of his own life for his next book.
I loved this one. It was bizarre and funny. I laughed at the darkest things in this book.
I loved this. I plowed through it. I do feel like the description is a bit misleading, that's all I'll say 😀
It started out so good but 3/4 in Anna really started to annoy me. So naive for a grown woman. And there were characters who just show up for no compelling reason (looking at you Ken).
This took awhile to read but I really loved it! A wild ride. On to the next book
I'm about to get a new 'do! This is the book I brought with me. The cover is so pretty to me.
This one has a pretty low rating on here. But I really liked it! Besides a bizarre Serena Williams sidetrack moment, I loved it.
This was my first book by this author. It was ok. It didn't have enough suspense for me. I do want to try more of her books.
I've realized one of my fav sub genre of book is : wealthy Manhattan women problems. I have no idea why! I loved this book as her last one.
Wrapped this one up tonight. I liked it. I wasn't blown away but it was good.
Sitting by this old fireplace. We are at my partner's brothers house and I brought a book. 🤷🏽♀️
I don't know what I keep reading books like this: slow, tedious, attempts to be vague and mysterious, always alluding to secrets, and then the last 1/4 is good. 🙄 but A+ for that setting!
I was able to finish this book while I waited at the Highway Patrol Inspection place today. Almost 2 hours. I started this book in 2020 and bailed for some reason. But I liked it!
Well, I liked this one more than the others I've read by TJR. First half was better for me. But fun and fairly light.
This is my third try attempting to finish this one. 🤷🏽♀️
(Also, Sunday's are depressing as fuck)
So late for this train but so very good. Finished it by book light so my partner could sleep.
I had been looking forward to this book for so long but then forgot about it coming out. Well I remembered this week and overnighted it to my house. Pumped
Bought this from Vintage Stock yesterday. Never read it. Just the movie (in which I hate most of the casting)
I am going to see the new CandyMan tonight and tomorrow I want to relax with one of this old school books.
Bought this one yesterday, after a hell of a work week. I did my nails, the first time with the at home nails. They are a bit long but I like them.
Loved loved loved this one. She lays out the pieces and then slowly clicks them into place.
I've had this book on my Nook since the day it came out last year. Just finished it today. I liked it quite a bit. Sort of retro redeemed himself after Survive the night. One thing that does slightly bug me is women characters. They are just a little off sometimes. Not a complete fool writing women but could use just some slight corrections
New books! My male friend (?) and I browsed the bookstore last night. We "browsed" and ended up buying four books. I got three and he got one (like an amateur?)
I just didn't like this one. I was annoyed and frustrated through the entire book. By far my least favorite of his. It all felt so tedious and moved slow.
I'm having a little bit of trouble with this one. I think bc Charlie is annoying and makes the dumbest decisions.
Also for a movie expert she seems to only know the super famous ones: 🙄
Another fun easy read. I want to be on that gorgeous Island. A+ on atmosphere.
I fucking loved it! And I teared up. I love fun books with bad bitches!
My close friend lent this one to me. I know there was a ton of hype last year around this one. I'm excited to see if I like it too.
I read this book fast. It's been a long time since I've been able to do that! I liked the characters so much that I didn't mind that the "twists" were a little predictable.
Brought this one to the pool. It's finally a beautiful day in Kansas. Way too much rain this month. . .
