Elizabeth Bennet would lead all the morning (& afternoon & evening) hikes & nature walks. Jane is a senior counselor & in her free time she writes her mother letters & dreams of young men with happy manners. Lydia would lead the girls sneaking over to the boy‘s camp at night & Kitty would follow her, paddling the 2nd canoe & almost giving them away with her cough. Mary would sign up (three times) for the talent show.

DebinHawaii … Since the #PemberLittens are reading Persuasion this month, Anne Elliot is at camp too. She would let herself be signed up for KP duty in the dining hall & then get made a junior camp counselor to watch the younger kids while their counselors go out & have fun. 3y

1️⃣ Ummmm... I don't. ? Definitely hotel for me!
2️⃣ Camp Coffee. ☕
3️⃣ The Hunger Games trilogy takes place mostly "outside" - if the done is considered outside.
4️⃣ Not really. Just read as much as I can! It's my last week teaching a summer course, so it will be a bit busy, but 'thons keep me motivated!

I love both tent and cabin camping- but with RA Im using cabins for my escapes into the “wilderness”. I would like to camp in a yurt some day.

3. I did love A Walk In The Woods
4. My goal is to read every evening until I fall asleep- no tv or distractions.

ChasingOm We did Blackwater Falls last year! This year we‘ve done Kanawha State and Beech Fork so far — of those two, I‘d say Kanawha State, but I‘m really looking forward to Twin Falls. 😄 3y

RamsFan1963 @mandarchy I think it would be fine for a 10 year old. It's the novelization of the movie, so unless he's already seen it, I think he'd enjoy it. 3y
