When I first started the book, I was so confused and thought I accidentally skipped a book. It finally got less confusing and I enjoyed it. It has a lot of action and a lot more fantasy in it. I can‘t wait to see what happens next.

This series is my guilty pleasure 🤷🏼‍♀️

10/10 fourth book in a series of 10. This whole series is exceedingly well written, I'm reading each one in one sitting. Literally can't put it down, doesn't matter what time of day it is, you have to know what happens. Plenty of action, story moves quickly but keeps to the thread of the story arc.

Mixed feelings at the beginning of this book. It covers some triggery topics of abuse and rape and the subsequent recovery from those. But the world building in this book is fantastical. Halfway through it takes off into a completely different and amazing direction culminating in a climactic ending that immediately made me download the next book. I'm rooting for so many characters, even a little bit for the villan embarrassingly enough! 👍👍👍👍

Trying to sink myself into this one before I have to start dinner soon but this hungry little monster is having strong opinions right now.

I'm excited to start the next book in the #Fever series. I'm enjoying it so far, though I'll be honest in saying I strongly dislike Mac. (Though it doesn't seem to be diminishing my interest in the series, so that's a win!) #Book4 #AfternoonReading

Reading past my bedtime. 😍

So I picked up the entire Fever series by Karen Moning a few weeks ago from my local library, but I haven‘t been getting through them as quickly as I hoped. I decided to switch to my kindle and just check them out one at a time from CloudLibrary because it‘s cold out and Im trying to leave the house as little as possible but I also feel bad having six books sitting on my bedside table waiting to be read that aren‘t my personal books.

Gahhh cliffhanger. Thank goodness I waited until this series was fully published before starting, I've read the first four in the last week and cannot. put. them. down. Am even sneaking a few pages when I go the bathroom at work. 😳 #shameless

#splashintosummerreads day 3: last line. this one sticks out in my mind because it was the biggest cliffhanger of my life😳😳

Finally the plot picks up and starts making twists and turns that I'm enjoying following. The main character is coming into her own and I'm finding her less present as a narrator and less annoying. I still get frustrated when the series back tracks and reexplains as if it were a television series.

I've been devouring this series. I'm glad to see the books get longer, and better, as they go. These books were definitely a pleasant surprise. Cliffhanger ending so make sure you have the next one lined up!

Cleaning up my Litsy bookshelf. I read this one back in January. It has another cliffhanger so once again make sure you have the next in series ready to go!

I can't believe it was 7 years ago that this series was recommended to me in a Book Club I belong to that focuses on a lot of Urban Fantasy and I'm still reading this series today, 7 years later, the latest release just last month. Not to mention that I'm still reading great series with that Book Club.

I really love the first five books in this series, but I think Dreamfever was my favorite one. Everything between Mac and Barrons, OMG. That's all I'll say haha. I didn't care for Iced or Burned so I decided a while back not to continue the series. For me the series ended well in book 5 and I'll pretend the others don't exist lol.

No, surely not. I'll have to wait a bit to find out what happens because there are people ahead of me waiting for the next book! Maybe I'll just buy it instead. What a fun, exciting series!

One of my all-time favorite series!! The characters are amazing. The world that KMM creates is the reality that I want to live in even with the violence around every turn and high probability of death. One for the ages!

The fourth book is action-packed, heart breaking and darker than ever. Mac finally grows up, and Barrons finally comes to shine. The end was utterly cruel and if the next book wasn't already published, I'm not sure I could have handled it. Did anyone have to wait long for the next installment?

The series has so many awesome quotes. I love everything she writes, everything.

The middle was a bit dull but it picked up at the end. I'm still surprised at how obtuse Mac insists on being over and over again, usually directly after telling herself not to make assumptions. But I guess the plot demands it. I'll be buying Shadowfever tomorrow!

Book Four did not disappoint! Characters, plot, action, and a bit of romance continue to have this reader tuning pages. A great series to pick up in between heavier themed reads.
