Thank you for all your messages on my last post, I was going to reply to them but then I got sick!!! I have murdered so many tissues the last two days. RIP. 🤧

I just learned from the guy who was the beekeeper at the White House that female honeybees do everything (feeding the queen bee & babies, collecting nectar, turning it into honeycomb, protecting the hive) and that the sole purpose of male bees is to mate with the queen bee. That's it. And if they don't mate with her, they get KICKED OUT. Honeybees are something else. 🐝

This week we will be looking back at the last eight years of our First Lady. Michelle Obama leaves behind a legacy of public service. Some of her greatest efforts in office have focused on childhood well-being, homeless shelters, LGBT rights, and the Bring Back Our Girls campaign. We will be focusing our posts on her legacy and life this week.

It has been such an awful week, what with all the national catastrophes, that I went to the library and checked out a book that will remind me what it feels like to be happy. 😊 🌱

For women everywhere who have been: leered at, jeered at, groped, grabbed, insulted, degraded, made to feel less than, underpaid while balancing work and family, physically assaulted, called a bi$&6 for speaking out, been questioned and not believed, emotionally abused, harassed and bullied - thanks Michelle for your words today 👊👊🏾
