1) Both. New is great but used books, in good condition, are fine too
2) Both. If a new series, then the first one, please. My OCD wants me to read in order.
3) All of them, not mixed of course. 😁
4) Have never had wax cubes. So candle.
5) Both? I do love bright colours more but often go for neutrals, though.
6) Blankets.
7) Love Funkos. Haven't bought one yet, because I'd rather spend the money on books. 😶

Because I have access to so many libraries, my TBR pile is neglected I've felt torn about this and have made so many failed bargains with myself. ("No, I won't pick up any more library books!") I finally came up with a solution that is working for me. Two pieces of paper in a bowl. It's taken the pressure off. #firstworldproblem

Wife Love ❤️ it. 7y
Notafraidofwords Great idea 💡 7y
Suet624 @Wife @Notafraidofwords Don't know if you both have the same issue, but it's been so helpful. 7y

Leftcoastzen Cool idea ! 7y
Izai.Amorim Cool idea. Old John Lennon used to sing, "Whatever gets you through the night, it's all right..." Apply to many other things as well. ? 7y
LauraBrook Such a simple yet excellent idea! 🤦🏻‍♀️Might try this out myself! 7y
Brooke_H I use a random number generator. 😂 7y
LauraBeth This is great! 7y
Suet624 @Izai.Amorim 😂😂😂 it's funny. I've never thought of John as being old. 7y
Suet624 @LauraBrook I know! It's crazy simple. I felt like shouting Eureka! when the idea came to me. 😂😂 7y
Suet624 @LauraBeth so darn simple and effective. 💕💕 7y
ValerieAndBooks How funny— at first I thought this meant you were completely giving up on the library—that you basically tore up your reading list from them! 7y
Suet624 @ValerieAndBooks oh! Well that's an interesting interpretation. 😁. No, I currently have 15 library books and 100's of my own books to read. I always read the library books first, leaving my own books languishing on the shelf. Now the paper I pick from the bowl tells me whether to read one of my own or a library book. 7y
nickimags Love this idea. I'm always getting books from the library and never reading them. Maybe I should this do as well? 7y
Suet624 @nickimags That's so funny. I'm the opposite. Those library books got devoured and I feel badly if I have to return them unread. 😀 Try this approach. See if it works for you. 👍 (edited) 7y
RadicalReader @Suet624 what an awesome method to make reading seriously a surprise to know weather or not you‘ll be going out to enjoy a walk to a magical wonderland of books or enjoy the coziness of your comfortable reading area and a book from bedside area 7y
Suet624 @RadicalReader Thanks. And you're so right. I win either way. 7y

Which one should I read next?! Pachinko is for #buddyread or Norse because it is getting great reviews? #NeedHelp #ToughDecisions

Balibee146 Personally I'd go with Gaiman because....well Gaiman. Enjoy whichever you choose xx 7y
ErikasMindfulShelf Pachinko!! 7y
Ms_T I haven't read the Neil Gaiman but Pachinko is wonderful. 7y

auntie_jenn Pachinko ❤️ 7y
KathyWheeler The Gaiman one is a really quick read, so I'd go with it first. 7y
underthebelljar Pachinko!! ❤️ My favorite book of the year (so far). 7y
Jess7 Pachinko! 7y
MinDea @freyaheart does your Litsy name come from Norse Mythology or something else? 7y
freyaheart @MinDea yes Norse mytholgy!! That said you know what my choice is 😉 7y
mrsthilkey Get the Gaiman out of the way. I just finished it- it's short, reminds me of fiction for children, just fyi. I'm done with that author. 😉 I'm wanting to do the Pachinko buddy read, too!! 7y
MinDea @mrsthilkey do you not like Gaiman? 7y
mrsthilkey I tried Neverwhere last year and couldn't even finish it. I wanted to try again but only kind of liked NM. I guess he's just not for me. I love fantasy so much, I'm surprised I don't like his writing or stories...😣😣 7y
mrsthilkey Def give Norse Mythology a try, there's some funny stuff in there. 7y
MinDea @mrsthilkey Norse will be my first Gaiman. I am 50 pages in and enjoy the stories so far! 7y
mrsthilkey @MinDea oh reading is so funny, the more we mention Norse Mythology the more I like it. 😂 7y

@Kalalalatja I didn't look at your choices when I made my picks, but turns out...exact opposite 😀

1. Beer (by a hair) 🍻
2. First page
3. Beach 🏖
4. Realistic
5. Jane

Bklover I'm with ya there- I'd take Jane over all of them! 7y

I can't decide what audiobook to listen to next! There's to many to choose from and I have no idea what I am in the mood for?!?

booksandcats13 Have you listened to the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne? The narrator, Luke Daniels, is amazing! 8y
melrailey @bigdamnbookgeek I've listened to the first two. I love those! Maybe I'll move on to book three. Kevin Hearne is a favorite. Great newsletter. Great twitter. 8y
drokka Not sure what you like but some of my favourites are Sleeping Giants (each character is voice by a different actor), The Unexpected Inheritance of Inspector Chopra (mystery), The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat (historical fiction) 8y
[DELETED] 57804897 The Emperor of All Maladies is pretty good. 8y

Engaging and very useful. Helpful background on the history of medical decisions, the current state of medical decisions, and how to jointly improve decision making. #nonfictionnovember
