My next organizing project is this bookshelf. I am going to alphabetize and pull the to read books out of this bookcase. I put all my books here once I read them but I also see that there are books that I haven‘t read.

Finally got to use the sticky markers on my shelves! 🤗 All books I haven‘t read yet gets marked. I‘m not too keen on color coding the markers, i just wanted to see how many print books are waiting for me and whoa, there are a lot of them! 😂 Is anyone even surprised? 😂
After having such an easy time shopping for the person I‘m sending my #secretsantagoespostal to yesterday, I felt inspired to FINALLY organize my goodreads lists. If my secret santa is still stalking and cursing me under their breath for not having any clues on books I‘d like: I‘m late to the game but here it is! Lol
Hopefully I will be able to get this in some kind of order on my next 3 day weekend. It gets out of control so quickly...

All of my books and all of my husbands books are catalogued! Now onto moving and sorting -- a next week project because I need to read now.
Got tons of cataloging done this week. I will definitely have 1000+ books which is kind of absurd.
Trying to catalog my books with a cat demanding attention.
Up to over 360 books in my house catalogued this week. The end is a ways away but getting rid of excess and knowing exactly what I have feels so good!
Up to 190 catalogued books this week which is a drop in the bucket but my kitchen table is cleared and almost all of the books in my living room accounted for (a few are in the tv stand and in a box I haven't gotten to yet).
Operation catalog and clean my books is... going to take forever at this rate but it's a worthwhile project so far.
I've never catalogued my books and I realized my shelves need a purge so...this month is about two birds and one stone. I'm dusting off my LibraryThing account for organizing if you're over there. I'm there as catagator. And obviously this is a sizable project I'll need to write about. Pictured are my only not-embarrassing shelves. 😂😂
Organized the bookshelf part of my life last night. It looks much the same, but it *feels* so good. Organized it by a few broad genres, then alphabetically (except the kids' books & the really big books on the bottom shelf). I'm happy with it.... for now! #showyourshelf #shelfies #organization
I must confess I haven't read the book I tagged, but I have recently put some work into organizing the Kindle in my life. Feels good to have everything sorted *my* way. I'm thinking of starting an e-book after I finish Heir to the Empire because it's easier to read on my Kindle at the gym.... I'll be needing to work off some of this holiday fluff! #organized #ebooks
Also managed to organize my children's classics, WordCloud Classics & my box sets. Looks much neater. Shelf space is going to be a serious issue soon, wonder if I can talk the hubby into building in shelves around our bed so I can sleep surrounded my my pretties!😍😍📚📚📚📚😍😍
Just finished organising my TBR Jenga stacks on the floor into colour coded piles ready for tomorrow when I finally get my library sorted.💪This is just the TBR on the floor, there's still 5 1/2 shelves of TBR to sort into these piles as well! Just these books will take up half my available shelf space! I think, as much as it pains me to say, there's a cull in my immediate future.😢This is two deep as well, by the way.
